  2. And go ahead and buy that data cable for your GPS. You'll thank yourself for it soon enough. Check ebay and different websites for a good deal (Garmin wants too much for it). Trust me on this one, you need it.

  6. While using lostoutdoors USGS images looking for an aircraft sitting in 2 ft of water (and 5 ft of mud) that I saw thousands of times as a kid, I saw something that at least *I* thought was amusing in one of the photos. have a look-see at N32.710328 W96.965862 never could spot that wreck though (all thats visable at normal lake levels is the vert stab) [This message was edited by bretley42 on July 11, 2002 at 08:07 PM.] [This message was edited by bretley42 on July 11, 2002 at 08:08 PM.]
  7. This has been brought up before (and there is very little information in the logs), but is Groundspeak looking to add wreckchasing to the site? I was about to start the perl for a wreckchasing site of my own (most sites out there are simply to sell a book). I was planning on taking submissions from finders, (with long/lat of course) having an online log for each site (where I suspect information on each site would collect along with the logs), and a mapping feature for known sites. While working it out, I kept wishing it was here instead. thoughts?
