  1. So, i am looking to try some of these night caches out, but the only thing is, it's very hard to find the listings for them, i found one bookmark listing, but it seems as if the dominant amount of active night caches in it, are not anywhere near the central los angeles area. I live in downtown Los Angeles, does anyone know of any good night caches that wouldn't be too far of a drive? I know of the one in Macarthur park, i plan on going after it, i would just like to try one out for the first time, that is not in such a sketchy neighbourhood. If anyone can post some links, to some caches nearby that fit into this category, it'd be greatly appreciated.
  2. well that would be one of the few issues needed to be tackled, and there is always that possibility of driving ourselves to somewhere that would be rich in caches and not in muggles......... maybe we can all meet at one initial spot that has some caches, go find those on foot, than travel to another area via scooter, than find a few caches on foot in that area, and so forth!
  3. I am looking to get a group of people together, maybe at the very least once or twice a month, to get together, and cruise to different places throughout Los Angeles County on our scooters while on geocaching missions! I figured this would be the proper place to get the discussion started about the possibility of doing this! please speak up if you are interested in participating, it'd be cool to get the ball rolling on something like this!
  4. When you hit california, you should go up PCH and get to Will Rogers State Park, GREAT VIEWS of the ocean, great hiking, and best of all......... TONS OF CACHES! really cool place!
  5. There are a lot of roads, but the roads will only get you so far, my suggestion for Griffith park is: geocache it in sections, park your vehicle in a parking spot centred between a few caches, go and clear them, than relocate your vehicle to another section of the park and repeat! Griffith park is REALLY BIG, and has a lot of trails, be prepared for some serious hiking! Oh and i don't know if you dig batman, but there is a cache there that is at the Original Batcave entrance from the Original Batman series! pretty neat! You probably want to enter the park via Crystal Springs (one of the main roads going through the park), this road will be able to take you from one side of it to the other, and will be able to take you to almost all the other little side roads whcich might place you closer to the caches.
