Hi all I have discovered my first TB. Thanks to me being on the forums since I started Geocaching I knew what to do. Since I couldn't help it along. I copied down the ID number and logged it as discovered, (This was the correct method of logging it right?) but I did not take it from the cache. I just thought I would share that this find was mine and my wife's first tb find. Oh yea and it was her first day out caching too!

Flash Mob events in Philly, are not a good idea. We had several of these last year, that were true mobs. Causing property damage and shutting down entire streets. So they are a bad idea, because of the name they have earned here. None of these were started from this site. Mostly they started at facebook, yet to me a flash mob is something to stay away from.

Are there any groups in the Philadelphia area? Im new to the sport and am looking for people to share this with.

I have to go waymarker.com for that one right? Yea It was in New Jersey, and me and my wife spent a weekend near it. I stumbled on it and it was beautiful, I went in looking for ghost stories. Since we are going back in a couple of weeks I plugged the zip code into the hide and seek today, and thats when I found it was a virtual cache. I also have found 1 micro that I logged today and know where to find several more, just from google satellite maps. and Ill be heading out for those. I wont get a GPS till late july, and when I do ill start hitting the harder to find ones.

Hello everybody. Im new here. just want to introduce myself to everyone, and say I am looking forward to this. Im 40 have known about this for a long time but never got around to giving it a shot. So far I have 2 finds and I dont even have a GPS unit yet. Ok one is a virtual one that I went to a while back and didnt know it was a waymarker. Does that count? Finding out after the fact? Oh well Have fun and enjoy the hunt.
