  1. That's pretty tough saying you walked off a cliff while geocaching. that big one would have not been a fun fall either.
  2. anao. too small for pencile and you need tweezers to get log out.
  3. I was out looking for a cache called wild life refuge. htis was interesting. as i live in the desert of california i am not expecting this sort of animal. i look right where it should be I jumped six feet in the air. I came accross a gosh darnned porcupine! too bad it was the cache its self. then I felt really retarded having my adrenaline pumping for a hunk of plastic. then i almost died of laughter.
  4. So i was riding my bike to do some caching a few miles away. Before i got out of my neighborhood i looked at my gps for one second and the next thing i know, i was flipped face first towards the ground! the bike wasn't dammaged. As for me i just landed on the top of my hand cutting three fingers, scraping my side, leg and stomach. nothing else happened. i can't believe i ran into a parked car. after crashing i checked for dammage on the car nothing. so i turned around and went home to a boring day of making containers. brings a new meaning to the word focus. you should try it sometime. AND be careful! lets hear your comments, stories and anything else.
  5. kind of mad i haven't i was looking for one on a main road and i was tromping through an already dead planterbox looking into an evergreen tree. he didn't even take a second look. made me laught though i was on my bike and he probablly thought i was looking for something i dropped.
  6. these look like they would do the trick but im not 100% sure i would think that if you could manage to insert them firmly and securely you should have no problem, i mean they say that they were designed for this reason. as for the other question i ues a fiberglass pole that came from a gardening tool. it is extremly stable for its light weight of a few ounces its around an inch in diameter and easy to hold on to. these would easily link together with the proper sized dowell to put in the ends of it.
  7. yup all i can say i no worries here their are pleanty of new ones and their not very expencive, try cheaper than dirt it has many thing their such as ammo cans and even camping gear and stuff you can use for caching. i think they even had .50 ammo boxes for $11.00 i think that is pretty good for one of that size.
  8. ill agree woth the newbies thing cause i made alot of early placement misteaks. i think i have gotten a little better i think i have placed some good caches on my last two or three placements. i tried using common sense but it failed me a few times, just think before you place what could happen and if your not sure just ask a few people for ideas, you dont need to be the most experienced cacher just a smart one
