  2. That is an excellent link. Thank you soooo much. Why the #!@% doesn't Garmin tell me any of this? I was on the phone with them for 45 minutes and they couldn't figure our my "problem." They were very nice people, but shouldn't they be able to tell me that. Thanks again.

    Howdy.....

I just took a look at the link....IT'S GONNA HELP ME A LOT!

    THANKX!

  3. Howdy......

I have ordered City Navigator (Garmin) that will come on two different SD cards (micro & regular (?) )

Anyhow...the micro SD will go in the Garmin, will the regular be recognized by my Palm E2?

I didn't see nothin 'bout this nowhere.

    Help if ya can.

    THANKX!

I think you'll find that they are both microSD cards with SD adaptors and NO, they will only be readable by Garmin units. Are they both CN 2008 or has 2009 been released on SD?

    Howdy RonFisk......

Thankx for the reply! I didn't think they would work, but thought I better ask.

I believe they are 2008. They will work for me.

    THANKX! again.

  5. Howdy......

I know WHAT to do......I just don't know WHERE EXACTLY to do it  (to make it permanent)

    THANKX!

    Vern / Foothills Drifter... :D

Uh, this is not a permanent fix. That just what needs to be done to the URL to get it to work for now. Just go up to the location bar, and change 'www' to 'atlas' and hit enter. A permanent fix will have to be done by the Groundspeak coders.

And before anyone asks, yes I could write a GM script to do this, but since this should be fixed fairly quickly, it doesn't seem worth the effort.

    Howdy......

    THANKX!

I will endure until it's fixed.

  6. I used to be able to click on the mapquest link on a cache page and go directly to a map. That appears to have been changed. Anyone know how to get the old functionality back?

The MapQuest link was changed by.... MapQuest!

They usually ask me before doing things like this. :D

Just change 'www' to 'atlas' and it should work. I'm sure GC is working on updating the pages, even as we speak. Or maybe after the weekend. B)

    Howdy......

Exactly where do I /we make this change.....
