  1. I'm pretty sure about the numbers. I'd been just under 3,000 for a while and some time ago I did some to get me over that, and I think I was at something like 3,020. A couple months (?) later I went to log a cache and saw that my log count was about 2,920 -- about 100 lower than it had been. I haven't received any emails that they were deleted, thanks for mentioning that.
  2. Recently I noticed that my count of cache logs/finds dropped by about 100. I didn't see any emails about logs/finds being deleted. Is there any explanation for it?
  3. Not all the statistics tables are displaying under Safari. Is there a fix for this? (Yes, they work OK under Firefox, but I usually use Safari.)
  4. I might do that. When I downloaded 6.14.1, it was noticeably slower on this older computer. My son's new one is fast, but mine needs an upgrade. I had logged out everyone and closed everything else, but it still aborted. I didn't have this problem with the old version. For now, I dumped it directly to the memory card and that seems to work.
  5. MapSource 6.14.1 GPS says: Software Version 3.70 GPS SW Version 2.90 Edit: USB drivers 2.2.1.0
  6. I have a Garmin 76Cx that I've used for almost 3 years. I've always used MapSource and Garmin maps. I used to have all of North America loaded to my 2GB chip. Lately, whenever I try to load only parts of maps (e.g., Europe, then U.S.), it aborts most of the way through, even on very small selections of maps. Any idea what the problem is? Edit: forgot to mention that I'm using CNNA 2009. Also, even when it does "complete", the maps are not on the GPS.
  7. LOL. Mine isn't either, but I didn't try it 100 times. Be right back....
  8. I have a flight connection in Paris (CDG) for three or four hours. Would I have time to visit one of the caches nearby?
  9. If you make an additional lot, count me in for 5 (five). You might have to PM me since I don't always check the forums. BirdManOfCT
  10. 1. BirdManOfCT, Connecticut, 45, Software Engineer. 2. Don't recall first coin. 3. Coins owned: 180. 4. Coins released: 180. Probably 140 still active. 5. No coins minted. 6. Blue. 7. 11. In my mailbox today... 10 new unactivated coins. Wahoo! They're activated now.
  12. I might be going to the countries Togo and Benin sometime, so I checked for caches in each country. ZERO! Agh!
  13. 161 here. I do it mostly to get other people to get icons. Ultimately, I don't expect any of the coins to survive (probably losing about 20% a year). I could re-launch with a laminated replica, but haven't chosen to do that. Yet.
  14. If you don't run, be prepared to lose 20% of your coins each year. For buying coins, I prefer: http://www.hogwildstuff.org/ They also make coins for you, but I have never done that myself. I have seen their other results and they are great.
  15. Found one: http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_detai...ab-ed6dac84a259
  16. I have a TB and I picked up (which I always do) instead of discovered (which I should have done in this single instance). If I cannot get the owner to retake it back, is there a way to get it out of my inventory? I thought I remembered something about TB ghostyards where a non-owner can "retire" TBs. BTW, I don't "really" have it in possession to drop off in a different cache.
  17. I have a Garmin 76Cx and have been using City Navigator v8 of MapSource maps. I heard there is a new version, but I only see the "NT" version and the TOPO package, which is different. Am I missing something?
  18. I would like to request that the MyFinds be allowed every SIX days instead of every seven days. It wouldn't increase the traffic that much and it would allow people like me to do their stats more steadily on a weekly basis.
  19. Anyone know where to get the activation codes for the Missouri geocoin that has US 66 on one side. It says "Geocaching on the Mother Road" on it.
  20. Glad to see that CT got representation. Was going to volunteer -- I guess I need to visit these forums more often. Good luck to everyone!
  21. I didn't realize it was that long of a hike -- thanks for opening my eyes.
  22. Screw it. I don't think I'll add any more caches.
  23. But, isn't that how the Delorme ones work??? Connecticut Delorme Challenge GCXEGV http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_detai...1b-828595ec29e2
