  4. for a beginner its a great little unit, i should know im a beginner and thats what i purchased...it was highly recommended by the salesman i talked to. The only downfall is you cant download anything from your computer into the unit you have to manually put in the coordinates in by hand, but other than that its a cool little unit and a great buy at $80, i paid that price at scheels sports.
  5. ok its not hard at all.....follow these easy steps press the pages button till u see a world map press the exit button to bring up the cuser....this will also show the longeitude and latitude (the curser looks like a cross hair of a gun) press the zoom in button many times till you can see a very close view of your area using the arrow keys move the curse over the city or area u live (make sure the cross hair is right on the spot u live) press the enter button answer yes to the question and u have your home waypoint....it will say home on your screen

  9. thanks guys for the help, i really appreciate it alot.....its really amazing how the little couple of pages they call a users guide that they send along absolutely makes no mention of that at all....you think they would mention that in there but they dont. Anyways ive been playing with it a bit tonite and i must say its really a nice unit for the price, lots of cool features too. wish me luck with it.
