  4. Hi Guys. I love the idea of night Caching an was wondering if anyone has setup a database or website dedicated to night ONLY caches like firetak caches. is it a worthwile idea? its very hard to find nightime specific caches at the moment. Many thanks Tom

  6. Cheers guys, i use a tomtom 910 almost daily so use this for most om my routing etc and its a god send, never let me down. And re the compass, its more a gimik saving me taking the real one outta my pocket, but then i love toys!! hehe thanks all for help and happy geocaching.

Well thanks for all the advice guys, have been looking constantly since yest and have finally decided to go for the Garmin eTrex Summit HC it combines the features i want with the addition of compass which is nice. TBH not all that fussed about the maps, if i need one ill take a real one lol. (and real compass just in case). Thanks again guys. And Bambography, nice to hear from you, i live above the Co-op so maybe we could do some sites one weekend, get in touch!
  8. Sorry yes i mean a GPS unit. Do you mean the standard Garmin gps60? as this is only £100. there are several in the 60 series but bearing in mind its purely for geocaching which would be a good compramise? do any have digital compasses?
  9. Hi guys well i have decided i need a dedicated satnav for geocaching. My tomtom gets me so close but its not enough. I cache in the uk and am looking to spend under £150. The only requirements i have are 1) i has a high sensitivity reciever with wass/egnos support and 2) is has a pc connection and software for uploading waypoints from geocaching.com any help? Tom
