Would have loved to join you, but we just got back today. Got up at 03:30 this morning in Cairns and flew to Brisbane, Auckland, LAX and arrived at PDX at 17:00 the same day, 30.5 hours later. We're a little beat. Mars is getting better every day for the next few weeks - I would be very interested in getting with people to look at it. We could compare the sizes of our telescopes.

So we were in Adelaide a few days ago and our 30 minutes of Internet time was expiring as we started reading Geonap's last pre-find note. Now that we're in Fremantle (Perth area) we finally got to read the whole story! So glad it has a happy ending!! Congratulations, GeoNap!!! You're no wimp! In fact, you'd probably have found more caches Down Under than we have so far. We suck. Our batting average is about .333. Just spent over an hour and 2 visits on an unsuccessful 1/1.5 cache. AAAAARRGGGH! We're having a great trip, and look forward to seeing everyone again in a few weeks. We even got greeted at the airport and had a private full-day tour with the mayor of Kangaroo Island! Don't know when we'll have Internet access again, and we're not able to access our mail right now....

What a great turnout! Thanks all for coming. We will be back in a month, hopefully with a lot of Australian trinkets to distribute in caches.

We're very interested, willing to pitch in $ for munchies etc. Alas, we're not available for the next several Saturdays (unless it happens on the 5th). Any possibility it could be August 16 or 23? If not, we'll have to content ourselves with enjoying everyone else's logs.

Got beaten to this one by Grandpa, but apparently we deserved it. We took the marble he'd left because he would certainly say we've definitely lost ours. Managed to squeeze a bungy cord in there, but the next finder will almost definitely need to take it. Another fine fractal micro!

On the off chance someone needs a larger printout to work with, I put several 11x17 printouts in this cache. I'll pull them in about a week if they don't go anywhere.

you know, its odd. The first time I fused that, I could see three levels that looked more like a sheep being attacked by birds. When I look again, I see what it is supposed to be. Don't know that I've seen a random dot stereogram that I could fuse two different ways before.

Very good JOYSON. I'm very impressed. The funny thing was that I was up at 2am as well, and saw your note then... I'm sure that knocking on a door would have provided amusment for somebody, which is why I said you didn't need to leave the street. We're working on a series of puzzle caches involving pyramids, and the first one is nearly done. It (the first one) will involve this kind of paint by number puzzle, and it shouldn't be nearly so easy as this little practice one. We really like paint by number puzzles; we've never seen triangular ones before we made them. They should be easier than the square ones, but can be more confusing. Here is the solution to the practice puzzle. The coordinates come from the number of triangles in each cluster; there are a couple of zeros in it, which require some imagination to see.

A corcodile? Is that like a champagne bottle with a combination lock?

Perhaps, if you solve it and interpret it correctly, it will lead you to a cheap trinket that could be a teaser for things to come... This is similiar to a puzzle type that Games Magazine would call a "Paint by Numbers", but it is different. I'm sure google can lead you to information on how to solve them. While the trinket is not on the street, you don't have to step off of the street to get it.

Sounds like quite the challenge. It's on the opposite side of town than we usually do, but oregone did (foolishly ) attempt the Clone of My Own Bonus while it was cut off by water, so I could do his cache the same courtesy. My sabbatical starts in a few weeks after all... I should wait for you to find it first to see if you put a coin in it... I know Marla wouldn't touch this with a ten furlong pole.
