came to the forums to see if the events calendar page was going to be fixed and learning its not. When traveling across the US, it was so easy to see if there were any events in the area I'm traveling through on any given day quickly. Now, not so. So many more steps to take and so hard to find events past 100 miles from home using the described method above. I'm not sure why so many of the ways I used the website to cache are being changed so much. I am struggling with all the changes and trying to figure out how to do things I used to know how to do quickly.

I used the LOC to download geoarts that no one had made a booklist. I went to the CO cache pages and downloaded the LOC into GSAK. Once I had the art, then I refreshed. got them all quickly. I also used the LOC when looking at other cachers booklists for mega events and downloaded caches of interest to me. Then refreshed from GSAK. So quick for me. I am really sorry to see this is gone and really am feeling the loss of this option. I USED it a lot. Have not found me a quick work around so far and hate doing so many PQs, waiting for them and then deleting caches from them I didn't want to begin with. Darn changes.

report: GC6PE7N has not shown up in my text message alert nor my email alert of new caches It published this morning. I found out about it from the CO on a FB page that no one had looked at the new cache (premium cache) I have all those boxes checked (it also took about 24 hours for the second puzzle email to arrive in my email, the first puzzle email took much longer) thanks, Lynn

I use bookmark lists by others that are posted on mega events to help see what others might think are good caches in the area. I also have found some interesting bookmark lists. Now that I see this question of rating a particular booklist, I will probably rate the informative ones. I really appreciate those who take the time to put together a good list.

I have firefox but it runs so slow! So I like using what is on my computer. But its broke now. No maps, can't decrypt, can't add corrected coords. And I'm not computer savvy to know what to do to fix it. If I was computer savvy, I'd be able to figure out why geocaching runs so slow on firefox. Bummer, wish I had a computer smart person to help me.

I noticed that the corrected coords used to get picked up during a PQ, but I have been having problems lately. Esp if I run the PQ while in Firefox. Or, if I refresh the data while in GSAK, I lose the corrected coords. Frustrated when out caching and I think I have the solved puzzle coords and then come to find out I don't.

I had let my premium membership lapse while I was busy studying in school (and way too busy to cache and didn't even go on the site for a long time - three months!!!) Then summer break came along and a friend was over and we were planning a geocaching trip when I discovered I couldn't make any pocket queries. So while I was hunting for my credit card, he gave me a gift membership. It didn't take long to activate and we were on our mission of planning the trip. Now I'm not too sure if it takes longer for a new membership but I certainly don't remember it taking very long.
