  1. My highest number days are 229 in Walla Walla, Washington with friends. Like with the ET highway, we swapped out containers for the next one. She drove and we took turns either hopping out or signing the log. If one person hadn't found the cache by the time the log was signed, the other person got out and joined in. There were a couple times she got out and pointed out exactly where the cache was! I also did a 205 cache power trail by myself and will never do that again. What is fun with friends is a chore by myself. My more memorable day is 34 hiking caches and getting caught 40 feet from a cache when a solar flare hit. The gps instantly changed to .14 miles away no matter where or what direction I moved.
  2. A couple friends and I did a bushwacking cache on the Washington side of the Gorge. A couple years later I passed through Yuba City, Ca. and stopped for the Sept 2000 cache. At the bottom of the page was both their names dated one day apart so I got to put my name right below theirs.
  3. Have you tried using the GPX file button on the cache page to load the cache onto your gps? Mine automatically saves the cache .gpx file to my Download folder and I can drag it into the gps from there.
  4. I have an Android and pulled up the website in Firefox. I had no problem dragging the map over to show the X and cancel the cache popup. Have you tried turning the phone sideways to Landscape mode? That should give you a wider picture to see the whole popup box since you can't drag your map.
  5. It has happened before with other caches. Look for a padlock that requires a key or a different code to reset the combination.

    Add Favorite

That's what I see when I look at the Favorite Points of the caches I own and on caches I haven't logged as found.
  7. Since it's an unpublished cache, there's no public record on your profile but the GC code that was generated from your draft will never be used.
  8. Open the draft cache page you want to remove and in the right hand column under Admin Tools, click Archive.
  9. I was told that the WhereYouGo will not read the file on the SD cards. Try moving it to your phone Internal Storage (and change your WhereYouGo Default to that Folder) and see if that works.
  10. Updating the post since I can't seem to delete it. I got all 7 tasks to complete on the Android by switching the Task Properties Correct State around on the other 2 tasks. Still seems strange that making the same choices on both devices, the Android would fail 3 tasks when the Garmin completed them all.
  11. I've been working on my third Wherigo, first one with multiple tasks, using the Earwigo builder and ran across something strange in the testing phase. Everything worked great in the emulator, so I made a cartridge for testing on both a Garmin Oregon 450 and the Android WhereYouGo. Downloaded the appropriate software for each device but came up with different results for the same actions. Doing the exact same thing with both devices, the Android had 3 tasks that failed while the Garmin had all 7 tasks complete. And the Android gave the messages associated with the Tasks being completed. I've tried recoding the tasks and managed to get one of the failed tasks on the Android to complete, one to stay pending even after the coordinates to the cache are give but one task continues to fail. I'll keep playing around with it but am hoping for some advice on what else to try. My next try is to mark the task as Incorrect State when it's given, Correct when it's finished, and Complete when it's Correct instead of just Complete when it's finished. I thought it strange that it works all the way through on one device but not another. And I'm wondering how the iPhone will run it.
  12. It's a Play Anywhere Wherigo but the link should have sent you to just above the Long Beach Peninsula off the southern coast of Washington. I did figure it out. This is the first Wherigo I've done that supports multiple languages and you have to put in your language preference before the codes to play the game. Once I did that, the game worked great. Made me feel like an idiot when I figured it out but sometimes I need that "Wherigos for Dummies" manual and I haven't found one yet.
  13. Is anyone with the WhereYouGo app for Android able to play The Reverse Caches? For instance: https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC7C96D_its-a-long-the-beach-where-i-go I've tried putting the code in manually and created a qr code to scan but I can't get it to play. Clicking the Answer button just erases the code and I can't even back up to the Start. All I can do is close the app down. Any suggestions on what to try or who to contact?
  14. I've been contacted by someone who had the same location problems trying to play my Wherigo with his iPhone 8. He's played over 100 wherigos but this was the first one with his new iPhone 8. He checked his Location services for Wherigo and they were enabled. Any other suggestions I can pass along?
