  1. I received my 60csx this past week, and it is a blast to use in the Jeep. The beanbag mount lets me throw it up on the dash and I can extend it most of the way out towards me. It is very easy to read w/ large arrows showing the way. I was suprised at the route it took to some of my destinations, but it easily cut time off taking routes that I have never taken before. I am very stoked to go out and find some caches with my new unit. This is my first GPS unit, so I have nothing to reference it to. But I am very happy with my choice and wouldn't hesitate to make the purchase again.
  2. I just received my 60 CSX last week, and being ne w to GPSing I absolutely love it! But I agree, mine will give me a warning beep about 1/4 to 1/8th mile before the turn, then a longer beep right at the turn. I haven't changed any of the factory settings, this is how it came. Hope that helps.
  3. Thanks for you input to my questions. I'm sure you'll hear me throwing a question here and there once I receive it, since my experience w/GPS is limited. But Thanks again.
  4. Now I'm kind of worried, My 60 csx should be delivered today or tomorrow and now I'm reading all these posts about problems. I'm new to geocaching and this is my first unit, I went for the higher line because I want to use it in my Jeep for auto-navigating also. I already bought a 512mb transflash card and city select. I am 100% new at this and hope I made the right pick. I guess my questions are: Should I use regular alkaline batteries or am I Ok with NIMH with all the talk about voltage problems. Can I use the included USB cable with my city select to download to the 60. Thanks for any input.
  5. Hello, I'm a lurker just trying to take this all in. Some friends of mine told me about geocaching and how it's a great family activity. So I'm eagerly awaiting the delivery of my 60 CSx so that we can go on our first find. I'm in Dover, PA and would just like to thank everyone for al the great information I've already taken in from lurking
  6. My main ride is a '92 Jeep XJ it gets me anywhere I need to go, then I have a '03 Dodge Durango if the whole family is going. Then on those warm days and not so muddy drives, I have an '89 Honda Pacific Coast which just makes the whole experience better. JEEP ROCKS !!!
