  1. Hi there I save them then export the notes to my SD card in which ever file is easiest for you to access. I then open the file on my ppc and highlight one section and delete it from my notes then it will ask me to resave it and I put it in Word pad form. so the gc waypoint reads first. Otherwise the note pad on ppc mixes it all jumbled. I then open it on my pc and copy the word pad version and paste it back into notepad so it will import into gsak and it recognizes all the found caches in the database. It works and I'm happy so far but would like a easier setup to get my notes over to gsak.
  2. Well I just recently lost gpx sonar off my ppc and will not recognize it at all. I have it on a storage card and have tried to reload it several times still nothing. I even went as far as to load cachemate for ppc and there is a win 32 file message that will not recognize that one either
  3. Hey it does work Well I was having the same problem but we saw on another forum about going in and making a config file in the gpx sonar program folder. and this keeps all the notes and just in case also make a export file as well, This saves them and it even keeps them til i sync or use notes cleaner. Now my problem is getting them from ipag to gsak and out of notes on word pad . any ideas.

  5. I am using gpxsonar new est version I am now trying to figure out what program to use to export to gsak. When I tell it to export my field notes it sends them over in a word program. If I tell it to send waypoints it sends a gpx file. With all the caches I loaded from the gpx file to begin with. Maybe if anyone Knows something that might work I would appreciate it if yall would post the web site here or send me a email. snglshot3030@yahoo.com Thanks, Mike (Fire2Water
  6. Does anyone know how I would go about finding all the caches along a major highway without having to do 20 pocket queries?
  7. I'm really looking to upgrade but don't know alot about the more advanced garmin gps. I've got a Etrex Venture and it has done alright so far but I'd like to upgrade. Could anyone give me some advice . I've look at alot of the problems on the other forums and could not decide. Was thinking the Gar 60CSx or the 76CSx but didnt know.
