Way back in 1984 I bought a bookmark with what I use as a sig line on it. I still have the bookmark, it hangs in my office to remind me of the important things.

Some nameless person left his Magellan ex300 on the dashboard on a 110f day. It twisted the case pretty bad and destroyed something inside. It will no longer power up at all even after I took the case apart and hooked the batteries up to the pads inside. I bought a Garmin eTrex Legend, best thing to have happened! No longer do I have to key in the coordinates manually, and the screen has much better resolution. The "find nearest waypoint" feature is great as well, especially in cache dense areas. Huge improvement over the Magellan! Anybody need a slightly used Magellan?

My last name is Wisbey. I have been called "Wiz" since I can remember. When I initially got online (BBS's) someone had already taken Wiz. Unbeknownst to me I had went to school with the Sysop, he remembered me reading The Hobbit, so he asigned me Gandolf (mis-spelled). Even mis-spelled Gandolf is incredibly common, so when I actually got on the internet it became Gandolf565. The 565 refers to May 1965 which is when I was born.

I may have scored a 3300 as well. The local store didn't have one in stock, but they ordered me one. $111 with no shipping charges! Now, if I actually get it... edit to add: The kid that ordered it said his boss had ordered 4 of them yesterday! Sounds like some people in this area (Hutchinson, KS) have been reading this thread

Nice! I ordered 3 of the golds (the nickels were sold out), 3 keychains, and a handful of the lapel pins. The caches in this area just got more interesting
