I did not put in a location and upon adding filters it says "Searching without Location" I queried caches I found with the name railroad in the cache name and it found them country wide! I like that...

Absolutely on this one !!! We need a .gpx or convert to a PQ. This is a great start. It will be very helpful in the time consuming research qualifying for certain challenge caches.

Finally, I'm just getting used to writing 2014 and they are changing it again. I think a muggle or muggles have snuck in and stole calendar pages off my wall... yeah, that's it and I'm sticking to that story! I am trying to figure out how I had two birthday's this year... is time flying that fast?? Some amazing coins passed by my gaze this year.... I think my fav is drneal and outandabouts coin.... the presentation was outrageous, the design, perfect! A great coin with a message that needs no words. Same here, one of my coins with no logs wound up on a list that was given out by the "CO" at a mega in Africa I was told. Dozens of bogus logs. I wish Groundspeak would take action and make a stern policy about this. Or… allow us to lock our coins.

I agree with nevadanick.... the beginnings of geocoins, some obscure tokens as all this was forming, personal sig items some as rare as hounds teeth all still surfacing from time to time. I have always relied on those who went before us for the connection and the meaning of these early coins. Do stop in, say hi..... there is some encyclopedic knowledge not to be found elsewhere and a huge base of new collectors that would benefit.

Got mine today... the pictures don't come close... they are awesome in hand! What a concept and what a final result! Congratulations on a coin that will be a collectors item for sure. As for that guy in Nevada, I took them out of the box, gased up my jeep and am driving around to a few events bragging....

Dear Time for a break I know the exact coin you are writing about. It's a nickel finish Year of the Water Snake geocoin. That was the only coin I ever left in a cache unactivated, the only coin I left as a gift. The reason I gave it away was that it was "surplus" from a project for my 6th grade astronomy class. I wanted every snake coin I had activated to belong to a student. Having a lose coin in the mix would have confused things. In any case please enjoy the coin. Any objections to me putting the coin into action by registering it? jballou If you found a trackable unactivated coin in a cache..... for whatever reason, it's yours. If it has no mission attached to it go for it. You may also use this once activated to track your travels or events you go to. The snake is pretty popular and we would bet it may not last very long as a traveler in caches and would go missing. Activate it , allow discoveries, and track your own adventures is our advice

Joe if I forgot to answer- yes I have a few extra Mobils that Gemma sent me from Netherlands so I can handle one! I will enclose the detail instructions for you Nevada Nick to hook these up to underground tanks but the hose is so small it takes 24 hours to get one gallon pumped with these! LOL (now I need to remember to put the disclaimer on ebay that these do not actually work.) That made me spit out my morning coffee....
