  1. I've had my Surefire 6P for about 6 years or so. It has been great. I've only had to change the bulb once. Really bright and tough.
  2. I don't take the laser range finder. But I usually take the radios and the binocks'...
  3. The military designed the GPS system to kill people and break things. Is this an inaccurate statment? And if you whacked someone just right, you could bruise them real bad with a GPSr.
  4. quote:Originally posted by Cire Yamel:"I often carry my GPSr with me although I never really need it (except to Geocache). It however, wasn't designed to KILL people." That's almost a poetic conclusion, seneca. But, ummmmm...well...yes, actually, it was. It's called the US Military; that technology has been used to kill a lot of people. cy You beat me to it. It was most certainly designed to kill people and break things.
  5. Here's mine! The radio is a Tri-band Ham hand held. I think you know what the GPS is. (128MB card) And some other stuff I take with...
  6. I sure wish I had my Meri Plat over there... That would have been nice....
  7. I'm in. As long as its not a Jennings or other cheap crap gun. I would love to have a SIG 226 again. But for now I'll just have to keep my good ol' Glock (perfection).
  8. U.S. ARMY '88-'92 1/227th "air mobile" 1st Cav Dco 2/1 Avn regt. 1st Armor Div. (attached to the 2nd armored Cav during the 1st Gulf war.) Dco 2/1 Avn regt. 3rd Inf Div. I was a AH-64 Apache crew chief, however, I spent most of my time During the GW riding around in UH-60 Blackhawks (riding the gun. "wheeee") GOD bless America!
  9. If you use a flare gun and are attaced, you fire it, it catches your attackers clothes on fire severely burning him/her. You get sued. You lose the court case. Not worth it. Get a handgun. You will still get sued.. But you just might win.... Just my $.02 worth...
  10. Ah-64 Apache Attack helicopter tech. 2nd batt. 1st Avn. 1st Armored Div. (attached to the 2nd armored cav in the 1st gulf war, where I spent all my time in the right crew seat of a UH-60, mannin' the '60.)
  11. I was wondering if one could use a floating antenna attached to some kind of cable on a waterproof gps for diving and such. Has this been done?

  13. Read 'bout it in a car audio magazine. Artical was written by "Audio A".
  14. But look at the Avatar.. I'v got a little experience with firearms, and a whole lot of time dedicated to training with rifle, pistol and shotgun. I shoot guns competitivly as my other hobbie. Trust me. You want me there if the SHTF. Tango Down!!!
  15. quote: the purpose of this damage is not to "cause an attacker to flee" or to "injure" them, as i pointed out previously and you chose to ignore, there are other tools for that. the purpose for sending a high velocity object into a target is to nullify it. to "kill" it. True when hunting game. Not true when firing on an attacker. When the attacker stops his/her threat the shooting stops weather by turning around and running away, or by keeling over.
  16. the only "bear banger" I'll trust is a .375 H&H Magnum and my skill as a marksman to hit it in the right place.
  17. As I've said.. I Always carry a gun while Geocaching.. You'll never know. But just so I am very clear.. I never shoot to kill. I shoot to live. Tango Down!!!

  19. I actually saw a bottle of something with a lable on it that had this warning.. "If lable is missing, do not use product" (this was printed on the lable, in case I wasn't clear) aww well. GOD bless America. (and Kaliforniastan too)
  20. quote: you to all the vets out their you have all my respect if were not for you the world would be a different place
  21. Who is carrying and who is not... If anyone meets me on the trail, We'll shake hands talk 'bout geocaching and have a good time hunting the cache. I will be carrying a handgun. And you may be too. Chances are you know someone that carries <-- [is that spelled right?) and don't know it. Tango Down!
  22. I am a former Sgt. In the US Army, (2nd BAtt 1st AVN 1st Armor Div.) I am a concealed handgun permitt holder. It is NOT legal for me to carry an expandable baton (go figure). However, I do carry two knives and a Glock 23 everywhere I go. Do you have your "homeland security rifle" (formerly known as "Assault weapon") yet? Tango Down!
  23. Thats all I got to say 'bout that.
