  1. Was in Rome, Georgia for Mega event over the weekend, and the overlapping of stops on various Adventure Labs was certainly happening for us. I use an iPhone, and I could see the multiple steps of the overlapping AL's, and I could easily jump between AL's. My caching partners, on the other hand, used Samsung devices, and they couldn't/didn't see all the various stops. Is this a feature not available in their version, or an option they didn't have turned on?
  2. another follow-up. I see now how to download a PQ. Can I download individual geocaches? How?
  3. I don't know how to tell. (sorry for asking such basic questions) Under Setup, About, it show's i'm software version 3.10 (if this is what you are asking). 3.10 is the current version. Do you see your geocaching account listed when you select Setup > Geocaching ? Setup, Geocaching, Geocaching Live, (I see my name/membersip). Saw Geocache Lists, picked it, saw my PQ, picked Sync, and now it appears to be downloading the caches.

  5. In Geocaching > Filters > you will see an option to select which Geocache files you want to load and show on the device, based on the account the device is assigned to. edit: This requires the Oregon 7xx to have an active internet connection 8^) So I'm home now with my Garmin 700 in hand. I choose geocaching, then filter (the funnel looking icon). I see options to choose Type Cache Size, Status, Difficulty and Terrain level. What I don't see is a way to get to my PQ. The only caches I currently can see are the 4 caches closest to my home.
  6. I just got my Oregon 700 over the weekend. I'm trying to figure out how to send a PQ of claims to the unit. I believe I have assigned my Oregon 700 to my Geocaching.com account, but I'm unclear what to do next. Any specific help?
  7. I have a buddy is about to hit his 5,000th this weekend, and the one he wants to go after may not be available. I'm looking for suggestions for suggestions for worthy caches somewhere in the Southeast. Ideally, within 200 miles of Chattanooga, TN, though we may be convinced to go a little further.
  8. I would be glad to help. Chattanooga, Tennessee
  9. I've purchased what I thought was a cute (if tacky) keychain shaped like a mini flask with the logo "Tennessee Moonshine". It actually does have a screw-off top, but I don't think anybody would actually put something in it. I thought it would make a good TB, but my wife thinks it would be considered Inappropriate. We're pretty new at this, and would appreciate any feedback.
