  1. INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING RESTRICTIONS: We are extremely gratified by the response to our products worldwide, and appreciate your confidence. However, due to shipping restrictions, ALL products containing aerosol sprays are available through our website within the contiguous United States only. Please note that online pricing does not reflect international currency conversion or the costs involved with tariffs and fees related to international shipping costs. Aerosol sprays also involve hazardous shipping charges in addition to the above costs, and some countries do not permit the entry of aerosols except under strictly regulated guidelines through distributors.
  2. Thank you for your "opinion" which is so flawed, beside the shipping restriction there is also the customs of the country which must be considered. Many countries forbid the import of aerosols. Do you know international laws for this country? I don't but I do know if you take an areosol can to the postoffice or to UPS and tell them you want to send it overseas they will not do it. BUT since you are so much smarter and helpful why don't you offer to buy that spray and send it yourself? all you are doing is running your mouth about something you know nothing about.
  3. Yes I WAS interested but noit now. Do you think all people are stupid? I don't care how much you paid for it new, I know what a new one will cost me, and a used one is worth LESS then a new one which will have full factory warranty. I guess you are too stupid to know your item is worth much less then you paid for it making you the "sucker" Now would you like to sell it or not? I will offer you $150 cash for the GPS alone. BTY, the data card is available from Garmin for $39 brand new, how much did you pay? Offer is $150 cash for GPS, not interested in the memory card.
  4. I have done search based on zip code and actually had a few that show zip in wrong area, they were small zip code areas and the search was from a few miles away from the correct area. Best bet is to find location for a cache in the area you are interested in and use it as the center.
  5. I may be interested but your price is too high, it doesn't matter how much you paid for it, but what is it available for right now? REI has this NIB for $249. What would you take for it now without the memory card, price it separate since I don't need it and will not buy it as part of the deal. http://www.rei.com/product/775802
  6. I mhave an older legend as well and use it with the serial to USB adapter. I use GSAK to upload the caches to the GPS and I am running Vista as well. Some programs have problems seeing the Gps on the serial to USB adapter, I know GSAK will work just fine and it is (IMHO) nthe best caching program as well.
  7. Why cant you take aerosols on an airplane? As the aircraft rises to cruising altitude, often over 30,000 feet, the air pressure is so much less than at ground level that the container will explode. This is dangerous.
  8. Can they ship by truck? no they would need to send it by PLANE. It is against the law for anyone to ship aerosols by plane, that also includes Fed-EX and UPS.
  9. The military grade would only help if anothyer one was used to hide the cache as well. There are also commerical model available as well that are just as accurate, they are used for surveying and are very accurate, also very expensive.
  10. What are you asking? you want someone to buy one and lie about what it is and send it to you? maybe cause a plane to crash, maybe get arrested and jailed? Sure no problem, I am sure many would want to help you with breaking the law.
  11. Another point, remember to "double" circle for the "footage" for the accuracy. If the hider was at one end of the 20 foot circle and you are at the other end of the circle, that means you need to be looking at a 80 foot circle. As you get more experience you will find it becomes easier, look for places where you would "hide" a cache. Also stay away from micros at first or at least not so many. Good Luck and remember to keep it fun to do.
  12. Sounds like it is going from "day" mode into "night" mode
  13. Why didn't you use the "factory" bracket that came with the Vista HCx? Works fine on mine, I just had to order the piece that mounts on the handlebars.

    Ohio Cachers

    Guernsey County here.............................................
  15. The Vista Cx sells for $120 to just over $200 depending on condition, but as stated above it is up to the buyer what they are willing to spend, just because one or 2 people was willing to spend $200 doesn't mean the next person will. You can buy a brand new in box Vista HCx on Amazon for $215 including shipping, on sale you can get it for around $185. I would guess a fair price is between $125 and $150 without the software
  16. Sorry, Etrex Venture HC.....not the HCx. The price depends on where I am shipping it Shipping to anywhere in lower 48 is same cost, so what is price (including) shipping in US :>)
  17. ahh a jokester huh? I wouldn't get mad, I would get even. Take him geocaching again and when you get a cache in the middle of nowhere, then setup a "race" to the cache and once he is off and out of sight, get back in your car and go home.
  18. Hell if you feel that way, you can give me $250 and I will send you a BRAND new UNOPENED Vista HCx and poket $35 as profit, I don't like to work deals like that but if that is what you want I will force myself to make a profit. :>) Maybe 2 years ago this ($250) would have been good deal, but now ?? you can buy a new Vista HCx on sale for $190 or less, you can sign up at Amazon and they will send you an email when it goes on sale.
  19. I purschased mine back in Dec for $189 with free shipping from Amazon, the price lised now is regular price, you can wait and watch and get it on sale for less then $190 and still have free shipping. Or you can order it from Garmin or one of many other retailers and pay $299 and $20 more for shipping. Myself?? I prefer to save money and buy it on sale.
