  1. Is it the Yellow Etrex? Did it come with a Data Cable?
  2. I've got a Palm M130. Great for my needs and handles the geocaching information that I've needed so far. It's not as advanced a unit as some though. I don't know much about the new Palm Tungsten's, but from my research and experience I would suggest the following: 1) If you are looking for a good device to keep track of appointments, addresses, dates, task list, misc things such as geocaching information, some downloaded web pages, etc. then the Palm with an OS operating system and good battery life has worked fine for me. 2) If you are looking to download and keep pictures, maybe take pictures, listen and download mp3 files, more graphical type things, then you may want to look at a unit with the windows operating system. These were the biggest issues when I bought mine. You may also want to check out www.cnet.com They have reviews, good/bad comparisons, feature comparisons, and they will give editor selections. Good source of reviews for all computer, digital camera, and entertainment systems. Hope this helps.
  3. That would certainly get him on his way to Indonesia, at least closer. Think he will make it on his way from China? What do I need to do to arrange a mail drop to you? Guess that means mailing the bug to you in NC?
  4. I've got a bug that needs to go to Yapen Island Indonesia. Picked him up Saturday. Don't know how I'll get him to NC though.
  5. How do you search for or sort the listing to find the newest caches placed within your region or zip code? Thanks
  6. Kind of a follow up ?, Where do you get coins made if you want to take that route? I would assume a design would be the www.geocache.com logo on one side and a personal signiture logo on the other. Just curious.
  7. In Birmingham here. Been on the hunt for over a year now, but only had time to get out and find about 8 caches, but plan on making more time and finds soon and into the fall. Would be great to get together with other geocachers in the area. Anyone tried www.meetup.com? Might work to get people together.
  8. Curious, what do people leave in cache's? I've seen some who have either purchased, or made items themselves, items such as pens, pins, stickers, cards, etc. that have the geocache logo and their signiture, etc. My question is as follows: If I wanted to make some of these things, or come up with an item to leave in caches as my signiture, how do I order these items with the geocaching logo, or do people get the logo off the internet and make their own products. Do they have to have permission from Geocaching.com? Do they have to do anything else to be able to use the logo? Thanks for any help.
  9. As a newbie, I've logged 6 caches, close to home. All were in spots I was familiar but havn't spent any time, was nice to see them. There was one behind a shopping center that was a little uninteresting, but still fun to find. Anyways, Brian, what is TNLN? Curious, I found that in a couple of logs on my way this past weekend. Thanks.
