  1. Airport size bottles of hooch? Adult like that?
  2. She lives there full time? That island is cool. That's got to be the fastest ferry crossing around. Zap in her zip code in the hide and find page to find nearest caches. Have fun.
  3. A buddy for an adventure motorcyclin forum described geocaching in a photo essay on that site. I was inspired to try it myself, and as it happens, my whole family enjoys the sport.
  4. I even go off-road with the GPS in it's holder. I suppose that after some use it may be less secure, but I'm happy with it's performance so far. Although I do believe it's intended for a bicycle. Do you know of the manufacturer Touratech? There's a retailer here in seattle- Cycoactive, Touratech has cool rallye gear specifically for motorcycles and have very nice aluminum GPS mounting hardware- mostly for Garmin units. Also, please share a picture of your bike. Thanks
  5. Hey Cyclometh, I've got the same jacket!
  6. I could have guessed Cougar if I applied myself I suppose. We had a '65 Comet for a bunch-o-years. A seattle guy still has it and I see it around town every so often. It's blue with a white top, a 4 door. You've got a nice ride there.
  7. Not sure what you mean by end? ......... When does the cache originator decide to pull the cache, and people no longer go to look for the cache? That's what end was intended to mean. We're new enough to not know the answrer to this question
  8. we're dry in the summer though
  9. I'd say start with a pre-formed "found object", like an aluminum cooler or a used toolbox, and adorn it to resemble an ammo box. If you ever get to Seattle, check out Pacific Industrial Supply on 4th Ave South. Tons of sculpture supplies.
  10. So far the toothyfamily is working at 50% full capacity, 48.99% two eyed capacity. The other 1.1% needs glasses
  11. Obviously we're new, but when does a cache "end"?
  12. So, remember to keep an eye out for your two wheeled comrades, motored and non-motored alike, we're out there, icy days or warm:
  13. Getting close (although blurry): Closer (blurrier): Found it!: What do we have here?:
  14. On a paricularly beautiful Sunday afternoon, the toothykids had playdates and birthday parties to go to, and toothymama needed to get some gardening done, toothydad set out to cross the sound in search of a Hood Canal cache. Ferry ride: The GPS said 25 miles, but I know that's as the crow flies, so what better excuse for a motorcycle ride through the Kitsap peninsula on the way to the Mossywallups cache: It's many miles indeed to the Hood Canal when it's sunny and you're on two wheels:
  15. Thanks, we registered as toothyfamily there too!
  16. Can you point me to a link?
  17. I saw the wienermobile in Auburn on a motorcycle ride last Sunday. When I showed the picture to my son he asked, did you see weinerdog too, Dad? We're just getting into Geocacheing and spent a lovely Saturday in the Arboretum searching for one of your multi-caches. Thanks by the way.
  18. Ah ha! A Beemer no less! Here's mine:
  19. My son, Toothyboy, thinks that this may be your car: Looks like fun to drive!
  20. See Werner Hertzog's film of this fascinating and tragic story, but also for the phenomenal sound track by Richard Thompson. There's an additional film on the DVD of the recording session of the soundtrack.
  21. Let's start 'er up now, shall we?
