I just had to reset my GPSMAP 60 because it was not picking up satelites. Now I treid to update the software t the newest version...it said that there was no update available even though I am pretty sure it is missing some features that were there before. How do I see what version the model is running? Thanks!

If you can help me out with any of these questions I will be very happy! I have had this unit since march of 2005 without any problems. Starting yesterday when I turn it on and go to satellite page, I get no communication with ANY satellites...just the acquiring satelites page. Has anyone else had this issue before? I will begin dealing with garmin tomorrow...if I send the unit in how long can I expect until it gets back? I bought it at REI...shoudl I just take it back there?\ What about all the maps I have stored on the unit?

While it is in my email. I am doing what I have down for the last year w/o any problems.

I have downloaded pocket queries before with no problem. Today when I go into my email and attempt to download the file I get this windows message “Internet Explorer cannot open (file). Internet Explorer was not able to open this Internet Site. The requested site is either unavailable or cannot be found. Please try again later.” Does anyone else have this?

How do you post a track log onto USAPhotomaps? I have the track log loaded into Mapsource. When I go into USAPhotoMaps and hit File-> Import-> Import GPX Tracks, I can not seem to find the track log anywhere on my pc. Thanks for listening I hope you can help:)

I was dissapointed with the Garmin bike mount for my 60CS. I have a road bike (Trek 1200) and the mount does not fit all the way around the handlebars. Does anyone know if there is another mount that will fit my bike?

I am going to be staying in San Clemente for a week coming up shortly. Can anyone reccomend any must do caches in the area? ( I will have a car so the "area" can be pretty big) What about any good places to eat or check out in San Clemente or within 25 miles? We plan on going to Sea World too so we will be mobile. I tried mounting the bracket for the bike handle bar mount onto my Trek 1500. The bracket is too small to fit. I could wire the thing on , but does anyone else make a larger bracket for the 60 CS?

How does it attach? I'm not saying it won't, but looking at it I don't see where it would. the GC lanyard I got has one of those loops you stick through a hole and looback around the rest of it. Put the loop through the wrist strap hole loop it around the buckle, then attache the buckle to the neck strap. wo La - you have it attached - Note:This type of attatchment is can be very dangerous. It will not release if caught and can act as a garote and choke you.

I just got back from a caching trip. I had loaded 500 caches into the unit using GSAK. How do I delete the trip caches other than going one by one?

Does anyone know what cache that couple went and found? Does anyone want to come down to Utah and hunt for Rhoads Lost Mine with me? ( It was the next clip on after the geocaching feature.)

Does it have any type of clip on the back? I need a case that I can clip onto the shoulder strap of my pack for when I am out hiking.
