  1. Went with this one too, looks fab. Thanks for sharing Gill & Tony!
  2. Spotted an absolute bargain on e-bay, ninety 3D Animal Notepads for a silly price. Bought them so I'm now fully equipped to replace logs in small/regular sized caches too (especially mountain caches).
  3. After hitting 99 FTF's, we sat back and waited for something special for our 100th FTF. This was it - a newly published geocache situated inside Ireland's highest cave. Drove 138 miles to get it. Worth it? Most definitely! My link
  4. 1) Armchair Needs Maintenance or Needs Archived Loggers. I'd never dream of logging same unless I'd actually went out and tried to find the cache. 2) SL TNLN TFTC Logs. If someone has went to the effort to hide a cache and successfully submit a listing ... surely the least you can do is write a few lines about your experience.
  5. Dog poo, at the base of a post. Opps - thank heaven for wet wipes.
  6. Steroids. There is also that FTF training camp in Oregon. Cell phones go off in the night and everyone bolts out the door into the woods. It has a daytime powertrail course, as well as psychological preparation, dieting, as well as hand exercises for signing logs. Tips on silencing loud lamppost covers with WD-40, as well as excuses for the police are abundant. Love this!!! Made me smile, when can I sign up? :-)
  7. When I placed my first cache I made the mistake of looking for Northern Ireland under United Kingdom, didn't take long to find out that my area was listed under Ulster in Ireland. No problems since and understand Groundspeaks logic. No issues with same.
  8. I'd like a feature when logging using the geocaching app on the iPhone to be able to somehow select all TBs in your possession to be 'all visited' a particular cache as opposed to having to log each individual trackable.
  9. Have my moments, sometimes I like to head out and go for a rake of park and grabs, other times I'll happily spend the full day hiking for just one cache ... recently discovered a new love for mountain caches. I guess you could say I like all aspects of our hobby.
  10. Link to news story Humour aside, glad no one was seriously hurt. I know caches are no longer allowed in BT phoneboxes, but when I'm looking for those that remain, this image will stay with me. I'll be hoping for a quick cache and dash.
