  4. 5 times there are two I still haven't found but I have only tried 3 times on those part of my problem is I mostly cache at night when it is dark when I go during the day duh it's right there
  5. It amazes me the Vikings find new ways to crush my superbowl dreams every year Start out 6-0 Play what I thought at the time was their worst game against Chicago The next game they play their best game of the season against KC Follow by truely there worst game of the season Tice should be fired not kicking the field goal on the first drive with the lead in the fourth passing three times in a row incompleteions stopping the clock the three extra point or a running play that took 10 seconds off the clock we would be going to the playoffs he makes Denny Green look good Oh and Brett there is no crying in Football
  6. I do enjoy night caching I do it when I can you have to be a little more selective on the ones you hunt but it adds a whole new element and sometimes makes a 1/1 cache like a 3/1 there have been several caches I hunted more then once at night and come up empty and then finally I went during the day within 5 minutes I found them
  7. Due to equipment failure the WGA website is down at this time. We are working on recovering and restoring as much of the site as we can, and hope to have the site up again as soon as is possible. 4/26/03 2:30PM Update We have finished our recovery attempts, and unfortunatly there was no recoverable data. To add to the frustration, yesterday morning my personal workstation ate its aged hard drive which had the recent backup of the WGA site. Fortunatly another of the WGA webmasters, jvechinski, has a slightly older backup which we will be restoring to. It is anticipated at this time that message board postings made after late April will be lost, and some membership records may have also been lost. As more is known, it will be posted here. Thanks for your patience! cachecows@elknet.net [This message was edited by Farmerted on April 26, 2003 at 09:33 PM.]
  8. Welcome to Geocaching the geocache Veterans Pavilion @ St. Paul's Church you really don't need a GPS'r to find the cache the coordinates I think where meant for the unique building. It took me about 45 minutes to find the cache Pavilion @ St. Paul's Church The Three geocaches in Rochester are good ones Pill Hill RCC Forest Quarry Hill Goods one near Rochester Oxbow Camping Goodie Bag Bear Cave Hideaway I would recommend a GPS'r for all of these What I enjoy about geocaching is there are few rules people have different ideas on how and where to place a cache and there can be more than one way to find one I have been skunked many times and returned 3 or 4 times until I do finally find the cache. Placing a cache I have found very rewarding you show others a unique or out of the way place or a common place with something in it that people don't ordinarily notice I welcome the chance to hunt your first cache we do need more around here There is a very good group here in Minnesota mostly based in the Twins Cites area but they are looking for more cachers from outside the metro area Minnesota Geocaching Organization at MNGCA Here are a few of my Favorites here in SE Minnesota Haycreek Hideaway Gorgeous Barn Bywater There are hundreds caches in Minnesota I have found only a fraction of them. This is just my 2 cents there are many more yet left to hunt. [This message was edited by Farmerted on April 25, 2003 at 12:40 PM.]

  12. Q. What is a Travel Bug? A. Simply put, a Travel Bug is a new form of hitchhiker you can track on Geocaching.com. A hitchhiker is basically an item that is carried from cache to cache (or person to person) and you can follow its progress online.
