We just started geocaching in april and haven't taken the bikes out like we use to. We don't have saddlebags to hold all our gear, mainly the hiking sticks we just purchased since they aren't compact. We weren't thinking of the bikes when we purchased the hiking sticks. Scarlett

Not to mention that its relitively persistant bioaccumulative... meaning that it can show up in fatty tissues for a long long time (read :months) after u have used it. [] For all you ladies out there and gents if any that polish their nails, DEET will EAT the polish. I assume it was the polish but it may have been my acrylic nails. I found this out after first use. 6. When I first started out I was wearing tennis shoes. I personally chose to buy hiking boots due to the comfort and it being a bit higher up on the ankle. I chose the Timberland Trail Dust due to comfort and price. I purchased them at Academy Sports for $60. I did find a picture of them if you would like to see what they look like Timberland

  8. I called Magellan just 2 days ago about this same situation. I was instructed to mail a COPY of the UPC code for the CD and the ORIGINAL UPC code goes to the rebate. I have to send an explanation along with the CD stating why I am sending a copy of it. I called 909-394-5000 and I believe option 2 for tech support. The guy that helped me with this gave me his name to use. You may want to do the same just to have a name for the explanation. Scarlett
  9. I just went to REI myself yesterday and found the same deal. I asked the salesman if it was a return and he stated no but it was just sitting there too long. I purchased it of course :-) The only thing is when you go to Magellan's site for the $30 rebate it isn't there anymore so I emailed them to send me a copy of the rebate form. Scarlett

  11. Prices to have a site hosted and maintained: 1. Computer ($500) generic 2. Domain $20/yr average 3. Hosting fees from ISP $$$$/MB 4. Database backended $$$$ 5. Bandwidth $$$$$$$$$$$$$ it's not free 6. Webdesigner $60/hr minimum 7. Someone's time and effort to keep this site maintained 24/7 8. Discussion forum $199 I know I may have missed something but this will give you a general idea of what $30/yr will pay for. An extremely popular site will use MASSIVE bandwidth and sometimes the ISP will go up on the charges if the site goes over the max allowed. This site is very popular as we all know and in order for this site to continue to grow it will need funds. $30 is cheap! Just my .02 Scarlett
