  2. I just looked at your coin and it is a nice one. The thing I found funny is that there is a Whiskey Road near my place to. I always thought they called it that because they used to run whiskey on it. Who knows. Cool coin. I won't be bidding on it but..... very cool coin!!
  3. I all have to add is that if there is a problem and they have to get rid of some coins, that everything is allright! I hope nothing bad has happened if so my thoughts are with them! -Dardevle-
  4. Hey cainrcc, you have mail. Thanks for getting back to me. Please send me your addy and I'll also get a nickel out to you. -Dardevle-
  5. Congratulations on your pic. I hope you have gone to therapy for your problem. Maybe Crackers anonymous! Everything in moderation!! Remember that and you will be OK! That was one picture I could not stop laughing at. You picked a good picture to post!
  6. I know this is not OT but LoriDarlin, For some reason I laughed out loud just now. I was looking at your avatar , a potatoe head, and then seen you are from Idaho. Sorry, it finally hit me. But I sure did get a good laugh. Potatoes are funny!
  7. I love the pictures fairyhoney. There is something about the older ones that really grab your attention. Maybe it is just that they bring us back to our chidlhood. Some have to go a little farther back to get there but all the same we all have old pics that we really enjoy looking at. So I take it you ate alot of "wild game" as you were growing up!? Thanks for the extra pics to look at!!
  8. For now fairyhoney, I have to work on staying up right. Like I said, I had "never" drove a motorcycle before Tuesday afternoon. But so far so good. I was more scared then anything. But it went really well as far as shifting goes and that was my biggest concern. Now I am just trying to get used to the bike and ride whenever I get the chance. The weather here is suppose to be crappy the next couple of days, so I hope to get out riding this weekend again sometime. That was a cute picture of you as a little girl by the way. I wish you would have posted more.
  9. Hey there DresselDragons, nothing says you cannot post a closing photo of yourself!! I'd like to see it anyway. I think we should now have to post a recent picture of ourselves as kindof a "all grown up now" picture. Geo.Error my friend, I did not know what I was missing riding a motorcycle. It sure is fun riding the back roads around the coutry side. I comes in 2nd of fun things to do next to Ice Fishing.
  10. Well, I guess the cointest is over. I really enjoyed this one too. It was alot of fun going through all my parents old pictures and reliving the past. It sure was alot of fun seeing everyone elses pictures also. They all made me giggle a little bit and some made me laugh out-loud. Most cointest let a person get to know everyone a bit better, but this one was really nice because it gives you a look into the past. Thanks in advance for the "cointest" Shop99er. It was very fun and entertaining!!!! Everyone had some great pictures. Win your coin or not I got to laugh at myself and others at their own expense. And I needed that after being laid off all winter. On a side note I went in Tuesday and took my motorcycle permit test and passed it. I then went directly to Larson cycle in Cambridge and bought a motorcycle. I have "never drove a bike before so I needed a starter bike. I bought a 2008 Honda Rebel 250cc. Hey, it may be a smaller bike but it fits me just fine. Here is a picture of me and my bike taken yesterday afternoon.
  11. I am 7 yrs old here in 1981. Why I am wearing my sisters PJs' is beyond me. That would explain why I like to wear my wifes.......! Nevermind, those are photos for another cointest!
  12. Hey GrnXnham, you have mail!! I'd love to trade. I like your cheaper than geocoins saying!! I hope we can trade. It has been a really slow winter for trading nickels. -Dardevle-
  13. WHAT?? No way, That was....I did not see that before posting the picture. That would explain why I do not wear white underware any more. Now I am embarassed!!! I do thank you for pointing that out though!! I do not think I would like a nudest place but I do not mind being comfortable!
  14. Again, I do not know how to resize pictures. SORRY. This is me and my sister on Christmas of 1984. As you can see, I have a small Christmas package! I can't help it though, it was givin to me by my parents. They are to blame!! And my knees are not knobby!! LOL
  15. How about this: "Although no longer as important as it was in the 16th and 17th centuries, fishing still contributes substantially to the food supply. Annual fish consumption in the Netherlands is 14.6 kg (32.2 lb) per person. In early 1996 there were 498 vessels in the Dutch fishing fleet, with a combined 153,694 GRT. About half of the fish catch is landed at the ports of Scheveningen and Ijmuiden. The Dutch fishing industry faces declining fish stocks and quota cuts from the EU that make profitability difficult because of excess capacity. In 2000, Dutch imports of fish products totaled $1,161 million and exports exceeded $1,344 million. The total catch in 2000 was 495,804 tons, consisting primarily of mackerel, mussels, sardines, herring, plaice, and whiting. Shrimp, oysters, sole, and other saltwater fish were also caught." Well, I can not say I would like to live there with you Geo.Error, your fishing does not look all that fun. I saw you have walleye and catfish, do you have any other types of fish like we have here? And most importatly, do you get to go Ice fishing? If not, that is too bad. And maybe a short visit would be nice! Thanks for the cointest. It is always fun to read what people find. And to get to know someone a little better!
  16. I think the fish had a big ego and decided that if a big fish can do it, so can I! And to answer to Jan and the Percey Boys comment, Yes it was a nano....but, they are are the most challenging..O-never mind, that made no sense!! Times change, it is now a micro!!
  17. This is a picture ofme when I was 7 yrs old. Just another example of my dads sense of humor. I guess I can thank him for keeping the picture rated PG! (I am sure the size of pic is tooo big, Sorry) And I wanted to bump this up to the top again!!
  18. Now that is the nicest coin I've seen yet. I cannot begin to tell you how much I really like to fish. This is definetly one I will be getting a couple of. I do not suppose since you didi not mention anything about that there is a list to get on? I did not think so but hey.......! Very nice job!!!
  19. I know this cointest if for "Embarrassing" photos but.....I could not help myself with this photo. This photo is of me in 1985 when I was 11 yrs old. We are on the Ash River near Orr MN. I am posting this photo because it is the reason I got my tattoos and eventually came up with my caching name. I have always loved to fish no matter what the season, although now I prefer Ice fishing, and in a way, it has carried over to Geocaching! While out on the Ice I do my own "FITO", which to me is " FISH IN(my bucket), TRASH OUT". Some people leave so much crap on the ice it makes me sick thinking that when the ice is gone all that garbage then goes into the lake. So...in a way I carry over the "cito" to the lakes too! Anyway, heres the picture! Dog gone it, could you resize this pic for me too so it looks like a 4x6 and not a 8x10? Thanks.
  20. Yes as a matter a fact the ice had disappeared. So we decided to take the boat out a get to know the structure of the lake for the following Ice fishing season. It is easier to get around in a boat to find spots that look good for ice fishing. We did do a liitle fishing too though. Gotta get my fix some how. Thanks for the vote 007BigD. Seeing your photo really shows me that you can find a problem, figure out how to fix it, and just do it! I think you are right though, RK must flip a coin now to decide the winner. After hearing about the "redneck" coin and seeing yours 007BigD...I now have some great ideas to create my own coin in a farely inexpensive way. Look for it in a month or so to turn up. I am still in the design phase with the minting company and I have a few things to work out but it should turn out nice if things come together the way I picture them. Thanks for the "cointest" Renegade Knight, I think we all got to know each other a little better and that it what I think it is all about. I also look forward to a decision. -Dardevle-
  21. Maybe THIS is why you are obsessed with ice fishing I agree, because I am fully clothed on the ice and no one can get a picture of me in the nude in the winter. Unless you count......O-never mind, thats a whole different story!
  22. Thanks alot for doing that for me. That looks alot better than the really big ones!
  23. I posted this exact thing in another topic but it seems to fit in with this topice also. So I copied it and placed it here too!(With a few additiions) I think alot of the time people do not post what they are thinking in a whole do to the fact they are afrraid to be "OT" or that the conversation that is not about geocoins will told by a MOD that they are moving it to the Off-topic forum. I for one would really like it if people really did have a nice little conversation and be able to get to know one-another. Instead of the half sentence replies. Which I will admitt I am guilty of just as I think everyone is. And I have partaken in cointest that I've probably abused my posting privelege. I have seen alot of people here help out greatly with different guestions people have and some of the "Old Timers" that seem to ignore any noob that posts. Having posted your "rank" in the hierarchy of the forums already says to some one that they are the "untouchables" of the forums. Or just plane have that "I am better and wiser than you" attitude! People need to remember that older is not always wiser and just because you've been around the forums longer does not make you better. And there are those who are "Old timers" as you say, that from what I've seen, I am glad not to here from them. Some people are Intimidated by that. To me, well, we all breathe the same air, and in the end we all end up as fertilizer. But, there are the "Old Timers" that give all they can to help others out. They are full of great advice and welcome you into the forums. I am guilty of being a negative "poster" in the forums but with some advice by people here in the forums, even in this topic, I have learned not to let things so silly bother me. Especially when it does not really concern me. I am really just rambling on here. I guess what I am really trying to say is" I'm Good Enough, I'm Smart Enough, and Doggone It, People Like Me!" Thank-you and good Day! LOL
  24. This picture is when I was 4 yrs old I believe. My dad wanted a pic that would come back to haunt me! This was the one that did. It surfaced again at graduation time. All that is missing is a good magazine or book!
  25. This is a picture of me out mowing the lawn, kinda! And NO, that is NOT mud on my diaper!! You can guess what it is and you would probably be right. But in my defense, does'nt a good "BM" make everyone feel like smiling? LOL Thanks for resizing my pictures Shop99er! I appreciate it!!
