Hmmmm. My first time Geocaching? It started after I read an article in my OutdoorNews paper. The article was a good one. I decided that since I already had a gps I might as well give geocaching a try. What a great time. I love being outdoors and this gave us another reason to be outside. Now whenever we go places I try to find a cache in the general location we are going. The first cache I found was with my daughter and it was Larry's Treasure Hide. Now we are hooked. There have been alot of good times spent with my family caching and I am positive there will be plenty more. -Dardevle

My wife and I actually met when we were 8 and 10yrs old. I was the older one. We were in 4-H together and spent alot time together going to fairs and state shoots. Those were the best cuz' they were all weekend. I am not sure what to call it but I'll use "puppy" love for it. We were "together" for until we were about 16 then the whole school thing came into play. Not to mention other"friends". We stayed in touch for a time and then lost touch until I was about 25 or so. I had seen her mom at a parade and asked how Katie, now my wife, was doing with her boyfriend. Well, They are not together anymore she said. OOOOO my eyes lite up. It took a couple of days to get the courage up to call her but I finally did. Long story short, About 10 months later we were married. Now we have two beautiful daughters and are enjoying being a family to the fullest. ( If I can get the picture I'll post one of us when we were 10 and 8 yrs old)

1) to have a nice digital camera to call my own 2) Have my arm covered in a sleeve of tattos 3) Spend one weekend in the woods alone hunting squirrel 4) Go on a weekend motorcylce ride 5) To live on at least 40acres of land (wooded) Assuming that I will see my daughters grow up and have kids they are not on the list. Otherwise my list is not that extravagent! But that is why it is "list".

This Picture is of my youngest daughter Alexandra at 10 months old. It was taken December 20th 2008. Which was just yesterday. We all decided to get out and play in the snow. For some reason I really like this picture. Thanks for the Photo contest and A VERY Happy Holidays to everyone!!!!

Yeah... I know! Trust me... I am addicted to her!!! ...even with her snotty nose and dirty knees! Thanks Lenny! WOW 007BigD, she sure is getting big. And What a beautiful little girl!!! The addiction is pretty bad here too. I can never seem to get enough of my little one. Here is a recent picture of my youngest one Alexandra. Edit to say, nothing in my mailbox yet. But thats OK, She makes me smile all day long, even when my mailbox is empty!!

My mailbox was PACKED full of snow. I think my neighbor thinks he is funny!!! Other than that nothing. Waiting for my Lemon Fresh Dog "Bone".

One of the greatest traditions for me is now on Christmas day morning. Now that I have me own family, a wife and two daughters, we use that morning as "OUR" time for christmas. We tell our 6yr old that right after breakfast she can start opening her gifts. Well, she somehow makes sure she gets up before the sun and we get breakfast to her. Anyways, what I am trying to say is that starting this "new tradition" with just the 4 of us is a gift in itself!! I feel blessed to be able to experience the holidays in that way, TOGETHER.

Lately our family tradition is to watch the "Yule Log" fire place on T.V. It is even funner if you have been drinkin' a little. We just have a good time with it. Nothing big, but it is fun!
