I believe Oakcoins has the only actual store, but that's out in Utah If you're from Michigan, a number of the MIGO events have event coins made and you're more than likely to run into fellow coiners at those events to browse through coins that they have. Bigger events like Geowoodstock, Midwest Geobash, and Geocoinfest will have vendors selling coins and other items geocaching related.

I noticed that one of the tracking numbers is visible in the picture, so I looked up the TB and contacted the owner of it. Hopefully at least one of the owners can get their TB back.

Well, I'm sure I have the most ammunition of anyone here I'll just share a few... Just a local town where this is the famous feature Pete wanted to help out a friend and pick up a cache that they were going to archive. It started out simple enough, a walk through a soccer field to a brush line. It wasn't until we reached the brush line did we realize that the brush consisted of all thorns and briers. Well, Pete is not known for finding an easy way in. Straight line is always the fastest, right? I think the picture above speaks for itself MWGB 2006 Wednesday night around the campfire. Someone accidentally drops a GCC ROT13 geocoin in the fire. Pete springs to action! He dons his mechanics gloves and dives in to save it. It's only fire, he says Seconds later he's only missing some arm hair and has saved the coin! Always believe, he'll do anything for a coin I'll be nice and finish with one of my fav pics of us Happy Birthday Pete!

I think one thing that people would need to consider is that if US citizens are flying into Canada, you'll need your passport. Since it takes up to 8 weeks to get it after you apply, people would need to plan ahead I think maybe by the time this happens next year, you may need it to drive there too.

how fun! just where IS the oakcoins. i want to visit a minters to watch the process. lara FYI, all of the actual minting is done overseas (China, etc). The Oakcoin boys travel to the big events though. They'll be at MWGB next
