Is there a way of telling how many FTF a person has,, and if not why not I think it would be a rather fun thing to have on our stats page of how many FTF a person has.

Yes Some Rocks are cool,,, but I was referring to someone grabbing a rock five feet from the cache and using that to trade...

What kills me is that first off you need a GPS to go Geocaching ok so lets say average price is $100 then you need a internet connection another lets say $20 x 12 months =$240, you probably bought a backpack and some stuff to go into it lets say 50 bucks, you gotta spend money to drive your car or truck to go caching ,, well anyways you get the point... So you invested all this money and you go off to visiting geocache that people place there out of the kindness of there hearth and the love of the game, And you reward them by taking good swag and leaving McPLastic Toys and Rocks---- Make you wonder how you even get up in the morning... The issue I suppose is not the rocks or the plastic used toys its the fact that people will take a interesting piece of swag and leave crap,,,, but then again this all comes down too my other theory ,, must people that leave Rocks (not the nice polished ones) and used broken plastic toys are probably not even reading these forums.

My feelings on Mctoys is simple, the neopets , Ty Babies in good shape or in there Original bags are collectible,,,, However the McPlastic toy from five years ago all scratch up wheels missing is junk, pure and simple... Here my second theory--- McPLastic toys can only be exchanged for Mcplastic toys not that nice new shinny Mag light in the cache. Make the sport better, be original, when exchanging swag pretend this is your Cache, I find great fun to read logs of caches I been too and see someone mention that they took the Swag I left behind. Although I have another theory really,, I sure that people that leave used Mcplastic Toys dont even read these forums or post in the log pages... Think about it have you ever seen a log entry like this.. Oct 5th 2003 It was a mild fall day me and the kids went out geocaching the river was beautiful the cache was fun too find a great time was had by all.. Took: New Compass Left : Used Nemo McPlastic Toy PS tks I enjoyed looting your cache and leaving junk.

Ok I fairly new at this,, is there a link somewhere for abbreviatons used by Geocachers TNLN = Took Nothing Left Nothing what are some of the others... tks

All great Idea I love finding stuff too compliment my GeoCaching Backpack ,, got a nice little first Aid Kit today.

Apart from the dreaded MaCToy Plastic crap and I due feel it should be banned from GeoCaching lol,,, I keep a eye out for sales of Poly Pocket or beading kits for girls and for boys most of the large retailers will have Hot Wheel cars for sale below two dollars. The whole point is not to spend alot of money but have consideration for the person that took the time and investment of provide you with a location to GeoCache, its nice to see in the logs appreciation for a fun or unique Item someone has found or traded, No one gets excited about a MaCplastic used toy...

When placing 3 for 1 or 6 for 1 items in a cache - we can be hardly suprised when all we find is mctoys and plastic junk ---- sigh. I never said I had to spend $30 - just that I did. LOL on the MaC Plastic toys--------I think Geochaching etiquettes should be amended --Thy Shall not Leave MaC Plastic Toys especially Used Ones-- And lets face the facts the reason you place a Mac Plastic Toy in a Geo Cache is that you dont want it,,, odds are no one else wants it either.. I am new to GeoCaching myself but I now find myself looking at items in the store thinking wow that would make a cool Cache Items. Nothing says it better then Trade Even --Trade Up---Or Dont Trade.
