  1. Good to hear. Is that a rat or kitten in your avatar? both.
  2. 2 hrs!!! I am on my 14 hour after putting in two 7 hr days of caching with it. am at last bar but still. i also am using Li-Ion batteries.
  3. When you have had too many files on there, it messes up the system. Delete all the GPX files and re-start the unit in its normal mode. Then plug back into the computer and copy your pocket query or your GSAK generated GPX file to the unit. It will all work properly after that. how do i delete them?
  4. so if i just bought the CN 2008 SD card, i can get a free upgrade to 2009?
  5. okay so using a pocket query and the GSAK with Colorado Export, i sent 300 caches to my unit. now there is still only 120 some odd files shown in my geochache folder. so, as i find caches and mark them as found, does the others i loaded on the list show up or what? where do i go from here?
  6. that's 'cause we arent told otherwise... no mention how it should be done anywhere else...
  7. I am loading them one by one through the Garmin Communicator. How else should i be loading these one the GPS? Is there a way to start over?
  8. oh and did i mention i am a 60csx owner that used it religiously? i still love the colorado. it is a caching dream.
  9. Okay so i was loading quite a few caches on my 400t and after doing so I realized that half of them didnt show up on my GPS. yet when i go to reload the cache, it says the "file already exist, okay to reload?". Anyone else see this? for example, i loaded a set of 3 caches: Tango Base One, Two ,and Three. Even overwrote them, yet when i go back to view them on my GPS, it doesnt list them. I can even search by GC code and get a "not found". i probably loaded 200 caches and about 100 +/- made it on the unit. still love it tho.
  10. I have the Colorado myself and have yet to see any of the problems that everyone else sees. I also had to wait until the newest batch came in before i got mine. i got it direct from garmin too. it does all you want and does it very well.
  11. I have been hearing a lot of negative comments on the Colorado lately. And i seem to be the only one not having problems. I just got it on the 30th mind you and it has been a dream. Got it for super cheap too. Less then i paid for my 60CSX which is saying a lot. Anyone else love it? Geocaching has been helluva fun now that its all paperless. Anyone else with some "Happy" comments?
  12. I recently sold off my 60cs and bought up a 60csx with the money. Was that a mistake? I have read some of the 60CSX htread and now i have buyers remorse... Now i am out of my old GPS and now have a new one that seems to have a butt load of problems. or so it seems... All i will be using it for is geocaching... I have GSAK on my computer and i hear that it doesnt like each other. is there another program that does? Also, i have Metroguide from my older GPS units. Is it okay to use it on the 60csx? Again, all i am using it for is Geocaching. Should i stick with it or sell a kidney and buy CityNavigator? Please help. Have i made a big (costly?) mistake?
