  1. Shouldn't assume a transfer in ownership would be possible, or that the owner would want to transfer or manage the overhead. Any traveller I should be able to consdier part of my colleciton whether I own it or not. A few jeeps out there I know would fit this description...
  2. This may be FAQ but why can't I move items I don't own into my collection.... It is possible to keep things I don't own as part of my collection. A coin that has been activated by an owner and then traded for example.

  6. Heading east on highway 2 today I tried to write down the tracking number of a smallish metallic orange hatchback type of car. Middle letters I believe were AV. I pulled up along side of them in my Yellow Jeep (Travel Bug) and would like to close the loop and discover the traveller. If you know who's car this might be can you send me a link? Thanks!
  7. The site says the device needs to have an internal GPS... not sure why it would not just use whatever the phone has whether it is bluetooth or not. I am also playing with it on Windows Mobile. Looks pretty cool so far.
  8. Feedback and a deal... I had a 76CSx and now have the 400t. The 76 and 60 are almost identical so my experiences are valid. I loved my 76CSx and really had more features there than I used. I now have more features... However I really do like the 400t. The trail notes are nice and it is easier to do paperless caching with the 400t. I did however used to have all of Washington synced on my 76 and now on the 400t I think I can at max have 2000 caches. That just means I need to plan a bit better when I go on a trip. I puchsed the turn by turn maps and car kits for both of them as I use those more than the topo maps. My 76 felt a bit more trail stable and I had no worried about the screen when I was out and about. The 400t makes me a little nervous. Feedback on the 400t that I have found to be true and a bit of a downer is how dark the screen is. I never used to use the backlight on my 76 and I use it often on the 400t. I have a 76CSx for sale... with car kit (mount, 12vdc) and full North America detail maps. It also has a belt carrying case! I can make you a heck of a deal
  9. I hope it is not punishable by death to ask about http://live.geocaching.com/ here... I see Google forums but can't find anything here... There is one user active in the middle of the US as we speak so it must work. Will there be forums and mroe US info shared? It seems like Europe gets all the new features... I ran into on FaceBook. Thanksl GeoBlank
  10. I would like to get $375 for the GPS and AutoKit. It is a sweet deal. Mint condition. Garmin 76CSX complete with USB Cable and carrying pouch. Autokit includes 12 volt cord, mount, and North America Maps. With the car kit and maps you can't beat this price. If you find a better deal make me an offer! The GPSMAP 76CSx is a refreshing upgrade of the GPSMAP 76CS, one of the most popular models for outdoor and marine use. This unit features a removable microSD card for detailed mapping memory and a waterproof, rugged housing. The microSD card slot is located inside the waterproof battery compartment. Users can load map data and transfer routes and waypoints through the unit's fast USB connection. In addition, this unit features a new, highly sensitive GPS receiver that acquires satellites faster and lets users track their location in challenging conditions, such as heavy foliage or deep canyons. The GPSMAP 76CSx also incorporates a barometric altimeter for extremely accurate elevation data and an electronic compass that displays an accurate heading while standing still.Considered the mainstay among serious outdoor enthusiasts, the GPSMAP 76CSx offers a large color TFT display and turn-by-turn routing capability. This unit also floats when dropped in the water. If you are interested the best way to ping me is through my profiile page - GeoBlank
