Sandie was simply one of the nicest people we have ever met. Her contagious smile and sweet spirit always warmed our hearts. Running into her and Bob on the caching trail here in southern California was so fun. Her kindness and her loving spirit will always be remembered..... That is so heartbreaking. Good thing you came along. Since you got their license plate, authorities can definitely take action. You can also offer to identify the kids if the authorities are concerned about proof. It might have been a parent's vehicle, but you got a good look at the kids twice. And I agree that it is a scary warning sign of what is in these kid's hearts, and there is a good chance they will progress to even more violence if it's not addressed now.

There is also a "grabbed it" feature where you can grab the TB from another cacher. One time I logged a TB I had picked up, then later got a very nasty e-mail from the person who had placed it there. They had not logged in in to that cache yet. They "grabbed" it back from me and told me very rudely why. I apologized to them as it was just a mistake. If you ask the other cacher nicely I'm sure they will correct it as most people are in this hobby for the fun!

You can get rid of the pins on Google map you know... just close the pin for the cache and the whole rectangle goes away.
