  1. Arghhhh. So many hikes, so little time. You know I want this one but I have already planned on going up Lookout Lookout with GrnXnham on that Saturday. If it happens to change to the next weekend, sign me up. Otherwise, have a great time!
  2. Hi CN, I am just putting my toes in the water. Any idea of when you are going up?

This is indeed sad news, he was a kind man.
  4. I also want to thank Vic for going the extra step and taking the time to feed the hungry masses! The hike was excellent, what a great spot to put a cache.
  5. I was just up there a few weeks ago and it wasn't there then. Perhaps this is photoshopped... Great hike though!
  6. I have spot 64 for both nights, should be an adventure.
  7. I am certainly interest. I was looking at the cache page and the area after we chatted on Sunday. I have already put it on the hike list for the summer. Might as well do it with a group of great people!
  8. Oops! Unfortunately, the previous post was wrong. The cacher identified as RobGowdy is actually rodgowdy. Sorry rodgowdy!
  9. Congrats to Rey del Roble for finding his 140th cache at Bushwhack from Spring Beach! BrewerMD, RobGowdy and some nettle farmers celebrate 140 with Rey del Roble.
  10. Hi. Any thoughts of where and when the next one might be?
  11. Hi. This is my home away from home. Bham being the first, this being were my son and grandkids live. Right now, I own 1 cache in the area, my son (badass) owns several. I am coming down tomorrow and will be adding to the fun for the 2nd (if you so desire and if they get published in time). I have the area pretty much cleaned out so won't be coming down. I do hope you all have fun.
  12. Hi there. I was one of the people out with ZorkFox that night. The story isn't entirely complete. The cache coords were handed out by the cache owner and was placed with the intent that he would pass out the cache coords at the event. Get over it. I published 11 caches about 2 weeks ago within 25 miles of home base. They sat for three days unfound. There is no secret conspiracy going on here. We all get the coords via email just like you do. The only time coords are known in advance are either when someone is beta testing to make sure the coords are good or when there is an event and caches are put out for the event. I have no idea how many FTF's I have, I don't track them. If I am in the mood when one publishes, I go for it. Usually, I am not in the mood, however I don't hold bitter thoughts for those that might be. Some people work, some don't some are active in other areas, some aren't. Some have time or are near computers so they know when caches publish. By the way, just went and found a cache that published last night.
  13. Hello. I want to adopt a cache here in Bellingham, WA. I recently found the cache after is sat alone for over a year and a half. The hillside it was on was slowly deteriorating and the cache was sinking further into the hole it was in. I relocated it about 20 feet away, across the trail in a safer place and posted the new coords and spoiler pics on line. I have attempted to email the owner a few times asking to adopt but no response. I do not believe the owner has been on line for over a year. I think it would be sad to let this cache go, it was hidden in October of 2001. I am willing to take care of it and would like to bring it into my family through adoption. How do I go about doing this? Cache info: GC2218 Mud Bay Thank you, brewermd
  14. Thanks for the reply. So I need to log it twice, once as a maintance and once as a find?
  15. Pretty new, about three weeks under my belt. I have found several caches that need maintance and when I log them, I select "needs maintance" under the options. However, these do not show up as my having found them in my account. Why is this? Is there a better way to handle this since I did find them but found them in need of maintance. Thanks for your help, brewermd
