Wife in the hospital, check. Never been in a kayak before, check. No PFD, check. FTF possibility, he** yes! What part of this log seemed "best" to you? The detail and humor. I especially enjoyed the line about sofa cusions working as PFD's for airlines. It probably wouldn't have been nearly as funny if he capsized due to one of the many boat wakes he encountered earler, got separated from his kayak, and drowned because he wasn't wearing a PFD. Wasn't that what the sofa cushions were for?

You are irregular.

In a way it is an off shoot of this site. To get listing mass the other site encourages cache owners to list the caches they have listed on this site to list on their site. But this begs the question that if you log here why would you want to log there? So it comes down to no need to bother with it. With a few exceptions, it's just a outdated, partial mirror site. Caches crosslisted there may be archived here, so there's nothing there to find.

THIS THREAD SHOULD NOT BE READ AT WORK!!! It may be hazardous to your job!

This was one of my most fun DNFS ever, just outside Las Vegas. I did go back later and find the cache, but it wasn't as much fun as the not-finding part.

I'm gonna guess my birthday. Why not. July 25, 2011!

How high res do these images have to be? Mine are usually 200 ppi. Some are just 96. Thanks!

Please don't hog the GPS signals

Sunshine is over-rated. Since I started using Moonshine I've found that I don't see much sunshine, so use all you want to. Please pass me some of that Moonshine. -
Was this on the forum posting schedule? I don't remember!

I don't know. I still see a valid concern here... There is still an issue here that has been left untouched. No one mentions the question of whether the reviewer is a canine or a human. I see at least two more pages as that issue really needs to be resolved here too. Perhaps the reviewer is a doorknob. We can't eliminate that possibility. In which case, we need to ascertain if it's metal or wooden. Is there some reason your prejudice against glass doorknobs? They get smudgy! I'm entitled to not like them! It's a free country!

Maybe it's time to Topic has wandered way off course. Too much more, and it'll get moved you know where, and then people will REALLY take it off topic. Or it will get closed.

Oh that's so funny. That is really lame if you have to rely on old movie quotes. But there's only one thing lamer. Logging on at 12:30 in the morning to point out how lame it is to use old movie quotes. But that is a great movie quote. One of my favorites. It IS really late, I can't tell if you're serious or not. I'm never serious at 12:30 in the morning. I saw your second post as it was e-mailed to me before you deleted it. I understand where you're coming from. Besides, is there anything serious about this cointest at all? It's nice to have a place to come to and not worry about acting stupid. Did you see my original cointest entry above? There was nothing serious about that one at all. Just having fun. May the lamest person win!

There's a blinking dodecahedron on mine. I think it's a space warp cache.

<never mind. I'll stick with my first one.>

Last night, Darth Vader came down from planet Vulcan and told me that if I didn't win this coin that he'd melt my brain. I like my brain.

No fair, you have already been here, so you won't come back! Come to me, my little starfish... (BTW, I'll be out your way in Sept-Oct)

I think we'll reach GC30000 tonight!

Is this something I should worry about? It's the end of the world as we know it... -
Oh, no! A reviewer MADE A MISTAKE! Worse, they honestly owned up to it in a public forum! We must immediately rework the whole system - in the meantime, everyone is directed to take cover at opencloning.com, where the offending mistake may not have yet been duplicated... ... okay, who slipped the sarcasm pills into my coffee?

How is your geocaching name pronounced?
Sioneva replied to cache_test_dummies's topic in General geocaching topics
And for good reason!! *mutter* -
Latest trend in discussion? I hid my first cache when I had barely 100 finds, about 5 years ago. It's still there, going strong, and people enjoy it. Number of finds has nothing to do with how creative a person is, so, no, no such rule should exist.

How is your geocaching name pronounced?
Sioneva replied to cache_test_dummies's topic in General geocaching topics
Seriously? Or are you just messing with us? I thought it was "sigh-oh-NEE-vah". No, seriously! That's how it's pronounced! You know... ... ... I've been giving this thought all day long. And you know what? You are wrong. There is no way that Sioneva can be prounced "Shneeva". OK, I might buy into "Sheeoneva", but if you want Shneeva, you must have spelled it wrong. Sorry, but look at how its spelled. Welch or whatever... it just doesn't work like that, Sheeoneva. Okay, you are off the guest list! And I'm writing you out of my will! It's a slightly slurred derivative of the Welsh Sion... And there's no Sheeeeee here you go. "Slightly slurred"... OK. Why didn't you say that before. Now I get it. Go look at the Stands, silly.
