I read a review of the rino and the person (name?) wrote that you should but some tape over the middle battery to keep it from turning off.

It sounds pretty dumb of you to put your gps in water or any electronic equipment. You messed yours up the same way both times. Don't mess your third one up.

Does anyone have any knowledge of a site where I can download points of interest for a certain area? Any help would be great.

I'd definately go with the vista. For geocaching, it has a very handy feel to it that makes it great for the outdoors. Its easy to hold in one hand. But both are great gpsr.
