  1. My question is what does a person they are a parent and have a premium membership and have some children that go caching and finding with them? Are you supposed to shell out $30.00/ member of the family? That kind of takes the sport away not too mention $$$ out of your pocket. There ought to be a way to pay for a monthly premium account at a fraction of the cost so NP members can log in there finds. Remember this sport originated as a fun go outside and find a cache. I am not against premium membership fees.
  2. Congratulation guys. Our Oregon marathoners for distance and number running. Go TEAM BLUR.
  3. Check with: www.thegpsstore.com I've had good luck with them.
  4. I have the family as decoys. The wife and boy will go out picture taking, while I swoop in for the prize. Cars back good human shields when they can be parked close enough.
  5. I have found that most "dollar stores" carry quite a selection of swag items; too be perfectly honest, some of the items I get there I wouldn't mind owning. This doesn't hurt the pocket book and allows me to put that money towards the RISING cost of gas.
  6. I was wondering has anyone used this model or any Delorme GPS unit for caching? Does it have file managers and will GSAK recognize it? Any info is greatly appreaciated.
  7. I purchased my 500 through REI in April 2007 on sale for $189.99 with a coupon also for a Li-Ion battery and charger. Magellan is back ordered for my battery and charger- just about ready to order another battery else where for the time being. I purchased a car charger so I could still use the Li-Ion battery. I had problems with the SanDisk 256mb card, but went to the local Radio Shack and purchased another one for the same price of $19.95 that had 1gb of memory.
