I found a Bearing tree in Central Oregon. I had just found GC15FWP and on the way back to the Jeep I saw the yellow marker. I too, was wondering about these and if we could log them. Thanks for the information.

I have not been getting notifications from visits to one of my caches, or from one I am watching which my wife put out. we know there have been visits to both these caches. we have read the logs on the pages but no notifications for either of us. What's with that????

I have used the RINO 110 both for firefighting and geocaching. Sometimes less is better. I like it myself.

My wife was a little sceptical to start with, however, after her 1st find (our 2nd) she is just as hooked as I am. she even has our gear out before the words "lets go" are out of my mouth. This has definitely brought us even closer than we already were.

Howlingwind and I are planning on going. Have to make arrangements yet.

Does any one carry a 2 way radio like the FRS system or use the Garmin Rinos which have radios built in? If so, what channel is the one we geocachers have adopted as an emergency channel? I think we should have a designated channel. What does everyone else think.

I wouldn't start worrying. PP apparently is a PO magnet. I'll have to vouch for Poison Oak at Browns Point Park as well. I did a park cleanup there about 3 or 4 years ago. One of the jobs I did was carrying the shrub trimmings to the truck in the parking lot. Never expected what I got for my efforts. My whole body was covered with the rash that Pandora's pic showed. It took weeks to clear up. My doctor said that he sees several cases of people coming from Browns Point with PO. Three months later when I put the same t-shirt on that I had worn that day that had since been laundered, I was reinfected. Nasty stuff. Ended up trashing all those clothes and I am much more careful at this close-to-home park now!
