  1. Thanks Great Scott, I'll give it a try!
  2. I've been trying to buy a subscription for my son. When I click the link that tells me to create an account that he can later change it just takes me back to my own page. Is there a link on my page that I'm not seeing to set up another account? Thanks
  3. When I search for my trackable by name it doesn't show up, does anyone know why? The name is "Vehicle Travel Bug", not too original, hahaha. Thanks
  4. Hate to sound like a doof but I haven't a clue as to where to start after turning it on, and that was a triumph. Maybe I need some 1:1 ? Thanks
  5. I have a Garmin Rino 120 and I'm I'm not getting very far in figuring it out on my own. Can anyone please direct me to a good instructional DVD to watch. I've seen a few on eBay but which one is best? Or maybe there's someone near Morgan Hill, CA that can show me? Thanks much, Marlene
  6. I have a HP laptop, use windows XP and Foxfire.
  7. Ok, I'm so new I haven't even gotten out to find any caches yet. I was putting coordinates (waypoints?) into Google Earth to see if I'm on the right track. I've used GE before using street addresses and no problems. The third time I put in waypoints my computer shut down completely without warning. I tried it again and got a message that said "ATI graphic driver" as the problem and it shut down again. Do I just download a new driver somewhere or do I need to call the Geek Squad ? Thanks
  8. I have a Garmin Rino 120 that I gave the hubby one or two years ago for Christmas. He has never used it... I haven't seen that model mentioned on the forum. Is it a good one to use and what makes it diferent from the other Garmins like the eTrex line? Thanks
  9. Thanks Cotati, for the link. I refer to those as "those heavy duty key chain thingies."
  10. Uh, newbie here. What's a carbiner?
  11. Newbie here... I'm still trying to figure out all the acronyms or find a list, how to use the site, do's and don'ts. I will probably have to snag a fellow cacher up in Idaho for some help on my first find. Can't wait.
