  1. I downloaded the new version of MapSource, and yes, now it seems to be able to download .loc files. Is there a way for MapSource to display all waypoints together? Each .loc file I bring in to MapSource makes its own little file. Seems like it would be nice to be able to see them all together. I tried GSAK, and told it to transfer all waypoints from my GPSr to it. It gave me an error message saying "error sending waypoints, MAGPROTO: no data received from GPS." My GPS is turned on and had been sending and receiving fine from other programs, so I'm not sure what's wrong.
  2. When I click File/Open, I get a dialog box that says "Import MPS file" or "Open GDB file". It doesn't seem to accept .loc files. I now see how to do it with EasyGPS, but I haven't figured out how to make that program display all my waypoints together instead of each one on a separate page, so I'd like to get MapSource to do it. Maybe MapSource doesn't accept .loc files anymore or something.
  3. Sorry for the dum question, but can I download .loc file information into MapSource? What's the easiest way to get cache coordinates into a GPSmap 60CS?
  4. I'm frustrated with this new unit's manual. It says NOTHING about how to enter coordinates. It says NOTHING about how to download coordinates. The online version of the manual is exactly like the useless one I have. I can download coordinates to my PC just fine, and I surely can plug the silly thing into my USB. But isn't it odd there are no directions for moving info from the PC to the unit? I have figured out by myself to go to Find, and then edit my home waypoint by tediously fiddling with the rocker key. There has to be an easier way. I've been having fun caching but I have to just write down the coordinates and manually find my way there. This thing can do better, though, and I am puzzled why the manual is so not helpful about this. Can anyone help me?
