  1. OK, slightly frustrating but thanks for the message.
  2. As the AL owner, is it possible to amend a finders log on one of my AL's?
  3. OK that's good. Thanks (I thought maybe there was something in Geocaching.com)
  4. Thanks jeff - that link does work and is a great alternative workaround. *Showing my ignorance here* - do I need to create a new link each time amending the GC code, or where is that facility on Geocaching.com? If I try to access via the usual search function on Geocaching front page, this is what now happens - see pic.
  5. Archived caches feature in many of the Master of Mystery Puzzles. Unless the MOM CO added a link to an archived cache (which obviously wasn't wasn't archived when the MoM was set), it now appears that you cannot progress any further with the MoM, as you cannot access archived caches. For example, GC13AXK, which is puzzle 5 in MoM #5 Montreal - there are many others. Could this be reviewed please?
  6. Has anyone compiled a public list (or lists) of the various Geo Art cache series in the UK? Could you point me in the right direction? Thanks
  7. Apologies if this had already been asked (I've only scan read the previous 5 pages). I previously found all the Modern & Ancient Wonders, which unlocks the Natural and Solar Wonders. If you find a cache with a Solar Wonder, before having collected all of the Natural Wonders, is the Solar find stored in some way? So that when you have found all the Natural Wonders, your previous Solar find(s) is unlocked? Reason I ask - I live on the Isle of Man and there are only a finite number of caches available, and as we are in a current 'Circuit Break' lockdown, limited travel only is permitted. The obvious answer I suppose is to wait until we are out of CBL, but would be interested if anyone knows. Thanks
  8. You need to keep checking Perseverance's image gallery at mars.nasa.gov and it should show up there.
  9. Thanks for the update, only just viewing forum since last post! One thing I learnt from I.T. at work was if something wasn't working 'have you tried turning it off then turning it on again?' I did that and it worked (through re-installing)!
  10. Anyone else having problems accessing Geocaching App via iPhone? (I'm accessing now via lap top). Following download today of the above update, I cannot now access the app. The update was for 'Ongoing maintenance ... small visual changes and bug fixes for a more consistent experience'. Have tried switching phone on / off & downloading the Geocaching App from the App Store, but all I get is a green page with the Geo logo in the middle of it! Help!
  11. Hello again, thanks to those who responded. What I was trying to do was simply review lists during this period of inactivity i.e. review lists of caches I own, caches to find etc. I had attempted to access via both Safari and Google Chrome with no luck. However, as if by magic ..... I can now access! So, without wishing to start a conspiracy theory ....... Isonzo Karst, Bear and Ragged, TmdAndGG - which one of you flicked the switch.
  12. Hello, Anyone else having a problem accessing their lists from PC / lap top? For several weeks now when attempting to access mine, I receive a pop up suggesting an issue and that I reload my page and all should be good. I reload and it isn't! However, when accessing my lists via iPhone = no issues. I know the obvious answer is just to use iPhone, but there are times when it is more convenient to use PC. Thanks. GFT
  13. I think my definition of 'found' would be actually signing the log in the cache container. People then have different definitions of how you find them (i.e. friend driving car for many or hiking / canoeing for four days to find one) and if I recall correctly, last years GIFF had a film on this subject. Each to their own I suppose. Not returning caches to their original hiding point happens whether people are looking for 1 or a 100, is wrong whichever way you look at it. (Maybe I'll hold back from starting another topic ..... Is it ethical to find a Mystery / Puzzle cache without actually solving the puzzle? )
  14. Well, this thread quickly descended into a bickering match. Crikey. I realise there are those who may manipulate logs, cheating only themselves. Having found a few of the Compass 001 - 360 series in South West England (see GC5H2BK for further info) and cachers comments about finding as many as possible ..... I just wondered, not planning to try myself. But hey, let's not get worked up about it. Can this thread be locked?
  15. Does anyone have details of the greatest number of caches found in a day / 24 hours for England, Europe and USA?
  16. Thank you, I'd best get finding some more caches then!
  17. Thanks, I thought that might be the case. Shall just have to be a bit selective when searching.
  18. Hello, I understand the concept of how to filter the various clue caches for the new souvenirs theme. Do you have to find caches in the order and quantity listed i.e. Detective, Footprint, Shadow and so on? What happens if I find a cache tomorrow which holds a 'Topaz' clue, which currently I haven't unlocked, because I haven't found sufficient Footprint/Shadow and Fingerprint caches? Will the system recognise my find after the theme started, but not necessarily in the correct order, and allocate me 'Topaz'? Or will it simply be ignored because it wasn't found in the correct order? Ordinarily, this might not be a problem to most cachers, however I live on the Isle of Man, but only have a limited number of caches to find, having found all the others? TIA (makes me chuckle this, ordinarily I'm such a Luddite, but occasionally I'm so down with the kids innit, that I know it means Thanks In Advance, of course) ?
  19. Generally I like the new map and have been using it. Whole heartedly agree with Michaelcycles comments above. Also I have an issue with the 'Sort by' option - the drop down list does not open and I am limited to Distance (Near-Far) only. Is there still the option to search areas by radius? If so, where is it? Thanks
  20. Is there a record for how long a Mystery Cache has gone unsolved? ?
  21. Bingo! Thanks Max, that worked. I have previously written a note first, and subsequently amended to a find, never mind though, I have the souvenir now. GFT
  22. When is the recent Earthcache souvenir distributed? Should it make a difference to me, that I initially wrote a note on a cache page whilst waiting for my answers to be confirmed? Once confirmed I amended my log to a 'Found It' from 'Write Note'? Thanks in advance.
