  1. A while ago I found a picture of a group of coins that joined together to make a country, but now of course can't find it. Does anyone have any good examples of coins like this?
  2. The new editions of our ‘Smitten with Britain’ coins arrived last week and are now for sale. There are now 150LE white coins and 50XLE red coins which go with the original 100LE blue coins (approx. 6 left). These are all on black nickel. There are also 10XXLE purple backed coins on gold, all of which are now sold (they look more purple in real life than on the photo). There is also one more edition which has been custom made for a customer. The green edition is 10XXLE on gold with personalised sleeve inserts, I think they look pretty special. If anyone else is interested in doing their own edition please let me know and we can discuss further. Personal editions are £95 for 10 which includes postage to the UK. We're currently doing 6 further special editions and they do look impressive if I do say so myself! They can also include translucent, glow in the dark and glitter colours. The red, white and blue coins are £9.50 each with £1 postage for 1-3 coins and £2 for 4-5 (insured up to £50) posted in the UK. Shipping of 1-3 coins to the EU is £3.20, to the states it is £3.80 The coin is in the shape of our fair isle with the Union Jack inside. The coin is die cast in black nickel with enamel paint which will never flake. The coin measures in at 2” from the Lizard in south Cornwall to John O’ Groats and a little over 1” in width from Lowestoft Ness (our most easterly point) to Lands End. The coin also has a unique icon associated with it when logged on the Geocaching site.
  3. Hi Everyone, We've had our first coin 'Smitten with Britain' made and they're now for sale at £10.50 each including postage to the UK, £11.90 each posted to Europe or £12.50 posted to the States. If you'd like more than one please let me know and I'll see what the postage is. The coin is in the shape of our fair isle with the Union Jack inside. The coin is die cast in black nickel with enamel paint which will never flake. The coin measures in at 2” from the Lizard in south Cornwall to John O’ Groats and a little over 1” in width from Lowestoft Ness (our most easterly point) to Lands End. 4. Sweet deal, will get onto placing it. Thanks for your replies!
  5. Quick question: can I place an Earthcache somewhere miles away from home? We went somewhere at the weekend that was begging for one. We've got one local to us (south UK) which is owned by someone in Germany, so I'm assuming yes, but just want to check... Had a look on the Earthcache website but didn't see anything obvious, hence the ask!
  6. Little Britain near Macclesfield is impressive - outline of Britain on footpaths using traditional caches only.
