  1. Agree. A map showing archived caches seems to be no longer available. I guess one could always do a search centered on the coords of the archived cache if you need such a map.
  2. The new search result release seems to have solved this problem. (It did create a lot of other problems that have been or are being fixed.) I want to thank GS for fixing this issue. The new remaining difficulty, for me, is that now one can only add at most 200 caches at a time from a filtered search result to a list. I understand from another thread that this issue is being addressed. Of course, one can add additional caches from the search in batches of 200, so it is not a big problem.
  3. I can affirm that your work around does the trick, but I don't know how to get "The Old Search," which would still be preferable to me. Among other things, when I try to generate a list from the new search function, it seems to limit me to 200 caches. The old one allowed 1000. I wish it allowed even more. How can I get back to the old one.
  4. I get the same result when I search with a 10-mile radius around a cache in California. The result is 3 million caches on a list starting in Germany! This must be a list of all active caches, worldwide. The search function has become useless!
  5. I haven't experienced missing difficulty or terrains in the resulting list. The new list adds terrains that I had filtered out in the search.
  6. Thanks very much for the heads up and the assistance. I am sorry if I created "unnecessary noise." That was not my intent, of course. I appreciate knowing that the issue is being addressed by the engineers.
  7. I have now reiterated this issue in a new thread titled "Bug Report: Creating a list from a filtered search." Hopefully this title will get some attention from GC.
  8. I started a thread yesterday with the title "Creating a list from a filtered search" in which I noted that when one creates a new list from a filtered search, the filters are not all carried over to the list. Others have confirmed that the T and D filters are ignored, and the new list contains caches that were not in the filtered search. I hope a lackey can address this issue soon and provide a fix.
  9. Thanks for your verification. I tried to find a previous thread on this topic but couldn’t. I hope a lackey will join the thread with help.
  10. When I create a list from a filtered search, I find a number of caches that did not meet the search filter requirements. In particular, I recently ran a search that limited the terrain to 3.0 and got a search result of 650 caches. When I added these caches to a new list, the list had 904 caches on it. The extra 254 caches all had terrains >3.0. Is this a bug or am I just missing something?
  11. Just updated to the latest version of the Adventure Lab app (1.3.10) and all is well on my iPhone 6 now. The AL app works again! Thanks for the update.
  12. I have experienced the same issue using an iPhone 6 running iOS 12.5.5. I tried the same fixes mentioned above. Both the AL app version and the iOS were updated recently so I don't know which update caused the issue.
  13. Thanks for the workaround. It is a bit tedious, but it does work. (I just tried it.) Hope the problem is fixed soon.
  14. Thanks for the information. I did not know that this would cause such a problem. I will not do this again. I apologize for the inconvenience. In the meantime, it is good to know that the problem is being addressed, and I look forward to seeing it solved.
  15. I just reported your post and about a dozen others in this thread. I had also just checked one of my DNF drafts and the problem still exists. This is extremely annoying.
  16. And it is STILL a problem on December 1!
  17. And it is still not fixed! Engineering must be having a long winter's nap!
  18. This has happened to me twice, last week and yesterday. I use the old version of drafts with Chrome. All DNFs get converted to finds when I go to post them. I can correct them back to DNFs before I finish the post, but this is a serious problem. Is HQ aware? If so, when will it be fixed?
  19. When you click on the Statistics tab from my profile, the first page that comes up is called "Basic." In that page is a tab for "Maps." It is on this page that the hole for Northern Ireland appears.
  20. Actually, the map is the same on the geocaching.com statistics page. Interestingly, the MyGeocachingProfile.com lists my finds in Portrush and Belfast in Co. Antrim of Northern Ireland, a separate country. It is the geocaching.com pages that are inconsistent in their treatment of Northern Ireland.
  21. I recently visited this region and found some caches in Ulster--some in Belfast and some in Portrush. In fact, I believe that I found caches in the UK region of Ulster, but I am not receiving credit for any caches in the UK under countries where I have cached. If you look at the mapping function under my statistics, it doesn't show any caches found in Ulster. Conversely, I did get a souvenir for Ulster. There is some inconsistency here in how Groundspeak treats this region, in spite of all of the elaborate logic set forward above.
  22. A week or two ago, the maps and logs quit appearing on any cache page when I used the Firefox browser. I am able to see them fine with Chrome, but not with Firefox. I am ok with using Chrome, but I just can't understand why they disappeared when I use Firefox. Things work ok in IE too, but I avoid IE if possible.
