  1. There's two of us and we both work in the space industry. She works on the Space Station stuff and I work on the Space Shuttle. She does scrapbooking and I do road biking. Not sure if that's enough to give anyone some good ideas, but if someone wants to make us an avatar we'd appreciate it. I have very little artistic skill, but I see some very good work being done in here.
  2. I guess I'll have to email the store again, I haven't gotten a response from my first email.
  3. I think TX is fine to share. I like the Black gold idea, maybe an antiqued gold finish, like they do on class rings for schools.
  4. I sent an email to the address yesterday morning, but I haven't received any reply yet. I like the original coin as well, plus this creates almost a version 1, version 2 situation. Now I want them both
  5. Post this on the more local forums for Texas and you may get more bites.
  6. Ours is going to be traveling with our beagle any time he goes to a cache. Plus if he goes to an event people can log him
  7. I'm eager to see the samples of these.
  8. Only problem with that thinking is that someone creating a real bomb could paint the exact same thing on their bomb. The police can't assume its safe. That's why you have to be wise about where you place. Next to a hospital/firestation or other municipal building is probably not good.
  9. Texas does. And I just recently saw Louisiana and Rhode Island mentioned in the forums.
  10. My wife, the geocoin police in my house likes these alot, so I probably have the go ahead to get them
  11. I could actually see myself getting one if it was normal size. Just for the pure comedy of it. Besides, I have found myself aggravated at the numbers as well. My main problem with them is the fact that they are often the same color as the area around them, so you have to angle them just right to see the etching.
  12. End of the Road TC is an interesting one because of the drive and its location. There are also several others right around that area. Around page 4 you start getting up into our area, and there are a ton of great ones up there. Lots of quick park and grabs too, if that's what you're after.
  13. Well, there are a ton within 30 miles of Galveston, though not quite as many on the island itself. We're working to raise the number slowly.
  14. We'll still be in the area, as will several others. If you're into puzzle caches there are several. We are trying to increase the number of caches that direction (there are a TON in Houston).

  16. Are off planet caches allowed? I guess that's a whole new can of worms. Not sure how the GPS would work once you get out to like geosync orbit.
  17. Very cool looking! Maybe if you make a second edition it can be corrected and ours will be special
  18. I find the death of 7 people should be humorless to everyone. letting it go at that.
  19. Foam covered booster rockets? No such thing. There are foam covered tanks and metal booster rockets. Sorry, I work on the shuttle, just had to interject that. I know its supposed to be funny, but you're joking about something that killed 7 people. Sorry if I'm taking that too seriously, but I work with Astronauts.
  20. We leave blank dice that we wrote our name on. K a n d R S. One letter per side. K R and S are in one color and the and is in another. For FTF and such on Micros we leave another special die, like a compass one, or something like that. They fit in micros and they are something different.
  21. I like them, there's a bit of tongue-in-cheek humor to them as well. I'm getting a set. I'll keep the LE and circulate the other two.
  22. This is a cool coin, too bad I missed it.
  23. I'm interested in seeing them as well.
