  1. what if you found some cool swag the second time around? is it tacky to re-trade ( even or up) ? I have not revisited any caches , but I was wondering anyways .
  2. princess stuff- party favors - my daughter always hopes to find something princessy- bracelets,.... I put all my swag on little ziplocs so they ( hopefully) will hold up . .... you could buy a pack of squinkies and separate them into tiny ziplocs-
  3. that's gross. hopefully it was a joke
  4. is the gps requirement because it is basically a gps game? why wouldn't it be acceptable to use google maps ( or whatever) to place an urban cache? I have always wondered this.i have perfect mark and always double check my coords via an " enter your lat/long " site.
  5. I just found a muon trackable today. went right through me. kind of hard to see the code though.
  6. my kids and I have attempted a few FTFs- and got a couple out of about 5 tries. I kind of like trying for the ones close to home bc it's the only time I've met other cachers out in the field.
  7. Good idea- I'm going to save that one for later!
  8. weird. is that a result of typing & auto-correct?
  9. where do I find the one you're talking about?
  10. what if I just wanted to post a pic on a travel bug page?
  11. most recently I have been making friendship pins and leaving a couple in tiny bags as swag.
  12. teeny tiny zombies. I have found a handful of them over the past months- I am assuming that one Cacher is leaving them but I can't figure out who . apparently they are game pieces for some game - they come 100 to a bag , hence the name of the product " Bag O' Zombies". too much time on my hands? lol- when I am up at night with my son I look up stuff on my iPhone. recent topics include the genetics of hair color , and Dandies. sorry to ramble. I also like pins- I either put them on my daypack or my satchel.
  13. I've seen it used around here- for caches - means the same as if you would say " look for a little nub" about 5 feet up. also could translate into very small ( nano) mass
  14. great ideas- we just recently found a "regular" with NOTHING in it but the log. my 4 y/o daughter said " mommy, this sucks" your ideas will help when she is bummed about the empty/ cruddy ones
  15. I use it on me after caching in the woods - I caught a bad case of poison something building a fort for my daughter , in my mom's backyard- they live in a suburban neighborhood with a handful of trees at the back of their half acre lot.. I still don't know what it was -,I scratched my arm on a branch , and the rest is history. I've brushed up against PI since and nothing happened. good idea about breaking off a chunk. i will def. do that. so what's the wetsuit story? caching in the woods in a wetsuit? []
  16. only twice in 191 finds- and both were attempted FTFs-
  17. would probably to be a get wet and soggy mess eventually
  18. it's quite possible they were just lost quantum physicists mumbling " Braaaaaaaaaaaanes" ....
  19. it might help to have a lawn mower as an essential geo-emergency kit item. just in case.
