  1. I hear there are folks that like them micro sized too Thanks everybody for the info. I used the link from one of you (I forget which) to buy from Paul Britt on Ebay. AKA Currency Collector. You guys are all right, despite what everybody says. 0:-)
  2. Can anybody tell me the size of geocoins in mm. I need to buy some collector's cases and they are sold in different sizes, in millimeters. Thanks: Mark
  3. I'll take 2 if there's any left. Mark
  4. Email sent. I put you on the list for one. Thanks! If there's any left I'll take 2. Thanks: Mark
  5. Yes, it is. I've also tried GSAK and it give me a similar message that says "Can't INIT COMM 4" or COMM 3 if that is the case. I've done everything the help sections from both programs suggest, which really isn't very much, and still no luck. The green light comes on for the serial to USB adapter meaning it is working but no data is getting transfered through the cable. Should there be anything on the screen of my etrex indicating it is connected? For instance, when I plug my cellphone into my computer, the screen has an icon letting me know it is ready for data transfer. I'm trying to determine if it is the etrex, the cable, the adapter, or the computer causing the problems. I have the exact same problem with my Legend. GSAK doesn't work at all and EasyGPS tells me the same thing as yours but if I look at my display it says "download complete" at the bottom, but there is nothing there. Go figure. Mark
  6. Hey guys, thanks for the response. I should have said that the one serial port is in use for my gaming mouse. Device manager says the the adaptor is set to com-4.(which is unused) Thanks: Mark
  7. No matter what I do I can't get my Legend to accept downloads. My computer has only one serial port so I am using a Semitech USB to serial adaptor. I installed the driver 1st. Windows XP sees the adaptor. Device manager says it's installed on com4(unused). I set the Gpsr to garmin and set GSAK to com 4 as well. When I try to download it says "cannot init com4". I try other com ports but all I get is errors. Any suggestions? Thanks: Mark
  8. There are a ton of them on Ebay. There are also serial to usb adaptor cables in case you don't have an available serial port. Mark
