There is no need to purchase a Climbing Pass to travel only as far as Camp Muir or Camp Schurman. If you are going for a daytrip only, nothing additional is required. If you are staying out overnight, a Wilderness Camping Permit is required. Or, per the NPS webpage... "Anyone planning to hike or climb on glaciers or above Camp Muir and Camp Schurman must obtain a climbing permit."

Hi - If there is room for me to order another gold one - I am honestly giving the one I ordered to my dad R-L-Painter for his injury - my husband is feeling a little slighted since he did cut his head open (running into a tree branch in the dark.. ) If I am able to order one for us to keep - here is a picture of his head wound..... Just so there is no confusion as to whether or not somebody completed a CAA cache in each of the 50 states, I have added archived CAA caches to the bookmark list for easy reference.

Congratulations to ZSteve and Hopperz on being the first to complete the entire Cache Across America series. I can't believe that they managed to find all fifty state caches and the series final so quickly. That must have been some trip!!! Check out their map... That is awesome! I wish I could have come along. That is one hard-earned FTF. Who's next?

Darn. I hope that comes back. You can tell a lot about a cache by how many people are watching it.

I just wanted to let folks know that as of today, the entire Cache Across America series has been published. All 50 states are up and the final is in place in Washington DC thanks to Flyingmoose! Rather than continue the umpteen page thread that was used to discuss the setup of this series, I thought it best to start a new thread to discuss the actual search and any commentary related to the search. A lot of volunteers banded together to make this setup a great experience. Thanks again to all. All fifty state caches can be viewed in the bookmark here. The series final can be seen here. Today is a happy day!
