I received several of my AE MWGB T-shirt coins today!!! Yippee!!

I hate to report that I do not know binary, but, sadly I do not. Although I think my husband can help me with it. I did however receive a Mystery Binary coin today! When I checked the mail I got a package to me, from me, but I just figured it was a Dog days package. I was extremely surprised and completely besides myself when I realized what I was holding. To say this coin is funny is a great understatement! I had to clean u0p the tea that spewed from my mouth with my laughter, and mystery sender you are right!!! thank you for considering me for this truly amazing coin! Below are a couple slices of pictures I just took. A couple things I noted, the coin I received is Gold and sys LE GOLD on the vinyl slip. The mailer was postmarked Florida. The handwriting was all caps.

On Saturday August 4th there will be 3 events going on in Aiken South Carolina! If your close enough come out and Join us. The day will start off with a CITO at Langley Pond. Come prepared to clean up a great park! This will go from approximately 7:30 am - 9:30 am...there will likely be an "unplanned" breakfast at a nearby restaurant,though this has not been made official yet. Otherwise you have a couple hours to find some caches. At 11:00 some fun will get started at the Pool Party & Pot Luck Lunch bring something to pass and eat and your bathing suit for some fun in the sun! This will go from approximately 11:00 - 2:00. Then you'll have some time to find more caches! Don't worry there are plenty. We'll round off the day with an Ice Cream Social and SCGA meeting,anyone who attends is automatically added to the SCGA. This will start at 7:00 and go until whenever! And there you have it a day full of events and caching in Aiken SC!!! We can't wait to see you!

I've got a design I have been sitting on for awhile now. Originally the plan had been to get a couple of my local caching friends together to do this, but for varrying circumstances it's not going to pull through. It's such a fun design I thought I would post it here and see if anyone might be interested. I got some quotes on the project a couple months ago, but depending on how the project goes I will likely need new ones, so let's not talk money here and now. Here's the idea, or rather the ideas. Originally this design was made to have 5 cachers name on it, each one would get their own color. Similar to the Jeep coins that came out some months ago. The names would flow from one hand to the other. If I go this route and there are more than 5 people interested, well really 3 because myself and 1 local still wants in, then I will set up some sort of drawing to see who get's in. The other idea is to allow many people (not sure how many yet but more than 5) get in and each get their own color and have them personalized similar to the Birds of a Feather Coin that is being done through Hogwild Stuff. To answer a couple of questions: 1. Who will mint these? A: I have no idea yet, though I sent out quotes to several mints. 2. Will they be trackable? A: Yes with this icon: 3. How big will they be? A: I'm thinking 1.75" 4. Will they be available in more than one finish? A: No, most likely not 5. Can I choose any color I want? A: I'm undecided on this as of right now. So with that said, here's the design. Feel free to chime in as you see fit.

Hmm . . . Good Question, but didn't I see some guy with an Eartha Shirt at MWGB? And I did always think that Eartha was a she . . . . now now so sure . . . . . . I would have to say, look at the coin! It sure likes a female fairy to me! Congrats to all the new finders! Even though the fairy has made her way through here we decided to make her a rest stop just incase her wings get tired she can spend a cozy night in a safe area!

Occasionally I will also make available some of the Artist Edition coins that I get as payment for my work. You never know with these things, but I suspect many of these secret givers either do trades, or sell coins or something of that nature. You'd have lots of addresses doing either of those. I've done some trades and bought coins so I'm hoping my address is floating on these mystery winds too!

Only to add my own experience. I have a design that is based on one of my favorite artist's designs. It is NOT his art, and anyone who knows his work can see the differences, but to be on the safe side we have been in contact with his foundation. We have the green light on the project and it will become reality. The only thing holding it up is the mint (in china) made a mistake on the back side of the coin and it has to be re-designed, and since Bella accidentally broke my stylus, it hasn't been finished yet! Also just my 2 cents. I think coins have evolved to the point of people wanting to send out things that they like, things that are special to them, which isn't always caching related, and I think that's a very special thing. It's like taking a small part of you and sending it out to be discovered by the world. Who knows the friends you can make by sending out a coin and finding that someone has the same interest in you because the coin makes them feel the same way it makes you feel. OK so that might be corny, but I think it's true. Dare to dream, find something that makes you feel good and make it a reality! Then set it free and watch it soar.

Oh my goodness, oh my goodness, she's back!!! I had heard a rumor that there were new coins, so I figured I'd check, and if not I know someone who wants the first one...but.... My log entry basically tells the whole story,but oh my goodness! The coin design is the same but this one is Antique Silver, the one from last year is bronze I think. I can't believe my luck, I had just returned from Columbia, I had to bring my Grandmother back to the airport. I got home in time to make some dinner, and eat it. I then sat down at my computer and found a message asking me if I had been out hunting Geocoin fairies. Huh? A little quick thinking and I decided to check her profile. What?! she had just dropped coins in Columbia. Well I knew there was no way I was going to make it, but I decided to head out anyway. I had just gotten onto I-20 when a call from my husband alerted me to a much closer drop. So I quickly turned around and headed to Evans. It was dark when I got there, but it was a beautiful night. There were still families out playing together and there were lightning bugs all about. I grabbed a flashlight and dug around my swag bag until I found the coins. What a "coin"cidence, I had some Stonehenge coins with me. So I pocketed one and a new path tag and headed in. My heart leapt as I drew near. There was a faint glow in the wooded hallow and I knew I wasn't far. I follwed the wooded path until I found the secret stash...said a quick little fairy prayer and opened it up! WOW, there it is, a brand new Fairy coin! I looked through the log trying to find the signature and scry some possible identity from it, but alas the log was a bit on the full side and I could not find it. I dropped the new stonehenge coin and pathtag inside, and skipped away. What a wonderful night! Thank you little Geocoin Fairy! Edit: I'll get a better picture tomorrow in natural light

The Artist Editions arrived today. I forgot I split my order. I have 20 shiny Copper with a dark blue translucent and 10 shiny nickel with a dark blue translucent.
