Since when did Northern Ireland leave the UK?
castagnari replied to Staldantes's topic in United Kingdom and Ireland
The Uk/GB cache reviewing areas are totaly none political. They ignore many county bounderies and many people feel that their particular town/city is in the wrong zone Ireland (all of Ireland) isn't treated as a different country, just as a different reviewing area -
"Normal" PQs will only cover so much, (nothing beyond a certain distance from home, no archived caches etc) Lower down the "build PQ" page you will see the "My Finds" section and a clickable button "Add to Queue" this PQ will return ALL your finds

A cache can only be "owned" by one account. What I have done in this situation is - - - 1, Put the cache on my watch list, this means I get email notification of all logs on the cache AND 2, Put the cache on my ignore list, this means that it doesn't show up on the map as unfound

Geocaching goals of 2012- What are yours?
castagnari replied to FMT15's topic in General geocaching topics
Likewise Also, to log at least one cache on 29th feb So I don't have to wait another 4 years to fill my calendar -
Personaly I wouldn't re-log it as a find, But I would go re-find it if i was in the area, (just so I knew where it had moved to) And maybe post a note on the cache to that effect

It just seemed to me like we were going round in circles................. Feel free to carry on

I have seen many threads about "power trails" over the last year or so and the one thing I have learned from them is that some people love them, some people hate them, and never the twain shall meet. Everyone plays the game to for their own reasons and has their own goals and expectations In my opinion that is exactly how it should be. Any chance we could all agree to disagree on this one ? .......................Castagnari, (UK & Ireland forum mod)

A few months ago I was doing a local series, one was magnetic on a bridge and parked right across from it was a police car with 4 policemen in it. I spotted the cache as I approched, bent to retrieve it, opened it, signed it, replaced it. I was quite disapointed when they didn't even ask what I was doing.
