  1. Mine counts have been off by over two months now and haven't automatically corrected themselves. My MyFinds query matches my found database in GSAK everytime but neither the numbers at the top of my profile nor the counts elsewhere match. My GC.com stats show I have one less mystery find than I have in GSAK and MyFinds query.
  2. It's the other way around. GSAK reports one more than GC.com. Currently GC.com shows I have found 1323 mystery caches, not counting GCHQ, whereas GSAK shows I have 1324 mystery finds, also not counting GCHQ. When I download “My Finds” PQ it contains 1324 mystery caches, which don’t include GCHQ, and matches GSAK exactly. Since the download from GC.com matches GSAK, I can’t identify the discrepancy.
  3. I have the same problem. My find count on the website is one less than it should be. I've downloaded my finds using the pocket query and it contains one more than shows up on the site. The site shows I've found 1214 mystery caches and the pocket query has 1215 mystery caches.
  4. I"m using Chrome Version 77.0.3865.90 (Official Build) (64-bit) on a W10 system and since the latest update of Chrome I've had problems with the Geocaching map in the map views that include only three map layers: Geocaching, Google Road Map, and Google satellite. It used to be that the Geocaching map would turn blank when zooming in and out. It would appear and disappear at various increments. Now the Geocaching layer is totally blank except to the geocaches. This problem doesn't appear in Firefox 69.0.1 (64 bit). But it works in Chrome when I select "search geocaches" or "browse geocaches" in the map view. Then I get all of Leaflet map layers and they all work fine, including the Geocaching map layer. That's not a good solution because you see every cache in the map's scope and not those in a specific list or pocket query. If they can't fix this then It might be a little better if GC.com let you pick the default map layer for maps and even better if they allowed you to use the Leaflet map set for all maps.
  5. GSAK seems to have updated FindStatGen3 (V4.6.3) and released it on 11/17/18 so that the fonts and links work for me. My profile information is back the way it used to appear and work.
  6. There still are people - including me - who don't care about being stalked but don't have a use for stalking others (i.e. being flooded with their logs). But if there will be filtering in future, this really wouldn't be a problem anymore. You're missing a way more important issue! It's not about MY logs to be seen by others... It's about OTHER logs that I'm now required to see INSTEAD of my log! The actual new dashboard shows me a huge block with recent views of what I don't need or care at all. And it just shows 3 recent logs, no more space for more on the first screen (and it's a big screen, for others it might be even worse!). I so often use the option to see MY logs from the last 30 days and now I can only see logs from the last 2 days? Are you serious, Groundspeak? And even with the latest changes, waste of space is still so f***ing bad. I'm not that blind yet and I still like the old style way more than this "fancy" new one. I just replied to the concerns about stalking, but you are definitely right. One of the features I used most on the old "Dashboard" was the list of my Logs in the last 30 days. Now these are gone (?) - or polluted with the logs from others ... ? The problem with the circles - if you mean the "throbbers" - and most of the other loading problems discussed here is the consequence of asynchrone loading (based on JavaScript and some other stuff). In many cases there is no rational reason to use these techniques, as it only complicates simple processes and is very error prone. But I don't blame GS for using that ugly bloat, as it is "state of the art" among web designers - maybe because many web designers are just artists and not technicians. They design their fancy and modern surfaces on top of a big pile of trash consisting of scripts, frameworks, libraries and so on. They are many abstraction layers away from the real hardware whereat each layer introduces it's own complexity and vulnerability. I agree, I don’t want my dashboard cluttered up with other cachers’ post. I don’t know about anyone else, but I see so many posts from others that none of my stuff even shows up; except the recently viewed caches. Plus there is a lot of information about the posts that was in the old dashboard that doesn’t show up. Now I have to go to a different page where all the information I use from the dashboard. I would be nice if I could turn off all those entries for others. OBTW, the issue of privacy it moot since anyone can see anyone else’s profile information by going to project-gc.com. It’s been that way for as long as have been using the site. It’s also irritating that now that I’ve looked at the new pages they have become my default pages and now I have to select to view the old page.
  7. Why is the maximum distance allowed 30 miles in the advanced search and even less when searching from my home location? After you find a lot of the caches around your home the search returns can be sparse. I wish it would work like the old one and as you scrolled over the map the caches in that area appeared. I commonly used that feature. You can replicate the old way by choosing a geocache, opening the cache page and then search for caches close by. Why can’t the “advanced search” include the same functionality? At least it could include the feature included in the mobile app that allows to initiate a search from the center of the area on your screen. It would be nice if you could save search criteria to use again rather than having always specify, "I don’t want to see my caches, one that I have found, or one that are disabled." Letting this search criteria apply for subsequent searches until reset would be cool too. Also maybe it’s me, but I find that most of the time when I do an advanced search and then map the results the map is opened in the same page and I can’t return to the search page—like the old search. However there have been random times that the “Map These Results” opens a new page and I can return to the original search results list and edit the search criteria and re-search. It would be nice if “Map These Results” always opened a new page, or gave you the option to do that.
  8. Hmmm...This seems to be a lot easier than any of the other suggestions. It's pretty obvious; I just never selected the flag before. Thanks!
