  1. CrayfishYAY, nice idea to carve a stamp for your letterbox! However, there is no requirement that you have to provide an ink pad in a letterbox cache. In fact, an ink pad in the cache container can over time cause problems, such as staining other objects in the cache, the pad dries out, etc. In the descriptions for the letterbox caches that I have placed, I mention that there is no ink pad in the container and that geocachers that want to stamp their book should bring their own ink pad. So far no-one has complained about missing ink pads.
  2. image resizing has been an automated part of uploading images up until now. It hasn't been an additional "feature" utilised by geocachers. For me it has worked seamlessly for all the 7424 images that I have uploaded since I started geocaching in 2009. With the latest "logging flow" I can't do it without taking several additional and cumbersome steps. I cannot regard the newly introduced image handling as an improvement. On the contrary, it's a giant leap backwards.
  3. In my opinion there is an urgent need to address and fix the issue of image sizing. Any necessary resizing should be part of the automated uploading process and not be additional tedious steps that each and every user should take before uploading images. When geocachers compose and design geocache descriptions uploaded images are automatically resized according to the needs and and specifications of the website. Resizing has also been done previously for log images, at least for the ones that opted out from the previous change of the logging process. So, please, fix this with a bit of code. Thanks in advance!
  4. Yes, I received the GIFF reel file on 1 November. If you don’t find it in any of your mailboxes I suggest that you contact the GIFF team straight away.
  5. Safari user here. For a couple of weeks I have tried to create new lists and to copy lists. Unfortunately, it keeps on failing - both on my Mac computer (from 2011) and on my iPhone (from last year).
  6. Thanks to the HQ team for fixing the issue. All well with version 1.3.10 on my iPhone 6 with iOS 12. 👍🏼
  7. Why? Groundspeak Inc. states that the system requirement for using the Adventure Lab app on an iPhone is iOS 12 or later. That's precisely what I have on my iPhone 6. So of course it's a bit annoying when the app is not responding.
  8. I'm experiencing exactly the same problem as magkirk in that the Adventure Lab app just flickers on and then goes off when I start the app. I have deleted the app, restarted my phone and downloaded the app again. Repeated that sequence a couple of times, but no improvement in the AL app performance. I have iOS 12 on iPhone 6, so that should be in accordance with the AL app's compatibility requirements. Hoping for a fix.
  9. Greasemonkey and jri's script works for PC. However, I am using a Mac with Safari, so I'm looking for an appropriate "elevation tool". Is anyone aware of a user script for Tampermonkey that would add elevation data (in metres) to the respective cache page?
