Hi all after a relatively successful first week of geocaching with a trusty OS map, Ive splashed out on a Garmin Etrex (the old Yellow one). Ive also purchased a memory map PC to GPS cable. Ive insyalled the driver that came with the lead, and updated any driver software ete etc, but when i try to send a cache's coordinates to the GPS from this site, it says it doesnt recognise the device. Can anyone help me???

Well i revisited my DNF's from my failed night outing, but this time in the daylight, and managed to find them all. Im now on 31 finds, and still using the trusty OS map, although my Garmin Etrex has now arrived. Just got to work out how to use the dadgum thing now. Is anyone local to Plymouth willing to give me a crash course in ho0w to use it please

Well im still waiting for my GPS to turn up, but i had itchy feet, so i went out after work to try and grab a few around Plymstock. I just dont think it was my day. Feel a tad disheartened as we had a relatively successful sunday afternoon out hunting. I only managed to find one Cache out of the 4 I searched for, and that was a Nano.

Hi from Plymouth I'd just like to say hi to everyone in the area, and hope to meet some of you whilst out searching. First day of Geocaching was on Sunday, and seeing as im still waiting for my GPS unit to be delivered, i was getting impatient, so i went out with the old fashioned map. Managed to find 3 out of the 4 i searched for, the DNF was my own stupid fault. Cant wait til Friday when im gonna hopefully collect quite a few round Elburton
